This closure has very thin lace. I did a DIY sew-in, and the closure structure allows for a glueless and easy installation. You may be able to get a cheaper closure, but I paid for the simplistic installation of this closure, which I just placed on and cut, which is helpful for a beginner like myself.The hair on the closure was soft and easy to flat-iron and style; knots came pre-plucked and bleached.

Despite being a nurse now, I was licensed as a cosmetologist in 2006. My primary clientele was extensions. So I've worn extensions & installed them over and over for almost 17 years. This is 100% the best frontal I've ever purchased for the dollar amount. I used it for a frontal and let my daughter do faux locs in the remainder of my hair. I'm back to purchase another frontal to do a slick back. (I use frontals because genetically, I've never had much hair in my temple area.) This frontal is so easy to blend with my hair & the lace melts easily. This company has a returning customer for life.

Received next day, in time enough for install appointment. Hair is soft. Wave pattern deep wave blended extremely well with bundles that I brought earlier. Because the knots are small and bleached and hair line plucked already, customizing was minimal. So far I am pleased with purchase.
