I didn't read the product page well enough and wasn't expecting unhulled seeds. These make a much less smooth hummus and have a slightly bitter aftertaste. I love the bucket, I love these cooked into rice and they were great in a fruit/nut bar, but I really wanted hulled seeds and had to find another seller. I really wish there was an hulled choce from this seller. I've been tossing a few handfuls of these in the gravel driveway with some millet, and the birds and squirrels are really enjoying them.

We opened this product immediately upon receiving it, planning to use what we needed and freeze the remainder. Unfortunately, the seeds (although received and opened a month and a half before their expiration date) smelled rancid and tasted bitter rather than sweet. I tried to return them, but was told that they were not returnable. IThis is a lot of product to dispose of and we will not order it again. Buyer beware.

09/02/2015:Well I finally got around to opening these seeds. They are fresh and tasty. I keep them in my big freezer at my shop and just bring some home when I need them.Tonight, Ima gonna start a batch of hummus. The sesame seeds will be the flavor enhancer for this. (love homemade hummus)I also brought enough to use on some barbecue chicken for the weekend.Not much more to say but if they don't play nice when toasted, I'll come back and update this review.9/4/15:Well I toasted a bowl (of the seeds!). I love these sesame seeds. Not only are they organic but they have a wonderful fresh nutty flavor. I usually toast them in a dry cast iron skillet (no oil) stirring constantly until golden. I like to sprinkle them on stir frys or pizza but When I am cooking they just go right in, as is, out of the tub. They’re delicious in everything!!

It’s my second bucket off sesames seeds!!I love it it’s clean and good quality too, I use it every year to make some baked goodsI highly recommend it

Me agradó totalmente, sabor y grosor, no pongo foto pues yo lo uso molido en ensaladas o en mi leche o en pan que hago!! Lo recomendé a mi familia, por ser excelente!! E incluso su envase !!
