I put this in my 24 bronco, and I bought a hifonic Zeus 1000w amp for 100$ on Amazon as well. At first I bypassed the built in sub, sounded good, but then I redid it with tying the input in after the Ford stock amp... the sound from the speaker is amazing. The bass is so deep and clear that I have to turn the bass setting all the way down to 1. $550 total, and about 3 hours worth of work (could be more, but I have done this many times over the years) and I have a system that is unbelievable for a single subwoofer system.

Installing was very simple, template was spot on. Leaves plenty of space for your storage on a 2 door bronco.

Got this to supplement the anemic sub in the black diamond. This thing hits! You won’t be winning SPL competitions, but it will sound great in your Bronco. I paired it with a Kicker Key 500.1 and it barely breaks a sweat. Install is a bit intense if you are not handy. Took me about 1.5 hours but I was being extra cautious of drilling into my tailgate.

Pros:Install was relatively easy good instructions looks nice on my Bronco and very well built. Install would have been a lot quicker if had nut settling tool. Definitely a room saver. Instructions have work around if you don’t have nut setting tool.Cons: Not really a huge con, but you are not going to get window shattering Bass nor hearing damage but the phoenix sub hits pretty hard much better than the garbage 8” B&O stock. I wanted a little more Bass so at additional expense I bought $439 JL Audio Tw312 dual 4 ohm shallow mount; keep in mind you will have to trim Striker box opening a bit. But worth the money. I am very happy with the product and the sub that comes with it is great as well.

This is just excellent. I ultimately chose to have a pro install it but before I made that decision I reviewed the instructions and it was easier than most ikea tables. Step by step to install, template to drill holes and rivets. Just excellent. The sound is also amazing so far and I’m really happy with it.

Product is not really a plug and play, you still require an amplifier, speaker wire and all the connnectors for the bronco. I only realize this after disassembly of the Bronco and got to the end. It also takes more than an two hours if you do it yourself to install. Now i am contemplating of returning this thing or taking it to a store to finish the installation of the amplifier and other accessories that may be needed.

Mounts easily for the full size 2021+ Bronco. Provides better than decent bass, but don’t think you’ll be blowing your glass or eardrums out. And for those reviewers of the Jeep model of 3 Stars or less on Amazon, if you’re only buying the unit and not an amp to help, keep scratching your head as to why the unit doesn’t work. Gotta love Jeep owners. You cut corners, you waste money. This unit works. I used a JL Audio 400w with it and it’s perfect.

Installed in my 2022 bronco and was a big upgrade to my sound system have it paired with a kicker amp and it really does increase the sound in the bronco well. I also used kicker cs speakers as well and now I can ride with the top off and can listen to my music. This isn’t going to take you to a pimp my ride level crazy sound system, but if you are just rockin what it came with and you want to step it up a notch without losing trunk space here it is, also easy install
