Mobility is great
I bought this to install a baby camera in my wifes car. Due to the dash she has the one that came with the system would not work so i bought this one and the mobilty range on this one was exactly what was needed. strong and sturdy

Works with Garmin Dash Cam Mini *with minor limitations
I travel for work, and drive a different rental car every week so I wanted to be able to use my Garmin Dash Cam Mini when I travel. Unfortunately, the only mount option Garmin offers is a semi-permanent adhesive mount base for the suction cup to stick to.I decided to try this ChargerCity suction cup mount after one reviewer noted it would work with the Dash Cam Mini. I can confirm it works pretty well, with some minor limitations. There just isn’t quite enough articulation in the ball and socket joint at the camera to place the camera closer to the windshield. So camera has to sit farther back in order to level the camera. See my photo for reference.Aside from the angle issue, so far this seems to be well made and the suction cup sticks very well. The price was decent too, especially considering what Garmin charges for just a basic mount.Pro Tip: Save the little piece of film that comes on the suction cup during packaging, to keep the suction cup clean when traveling or whenever it’s not on the windshield.FYI, my Garmin is the 1st gen Dash Cam Mini

Holds Really Well To My Windshield
Very adjustable, and the suction is holding really really well. It’s stayed attached thru intense Texas summer heat and so far, the early days of our colder than normal winter season. I’m pleased with this device.

Way too big and bulky
Thing was huuuge. Way bigger than pictures. If I stuck the thing behind my rear view mirror the camera would be about halfway down my windshield.

Very well made product
I purchased this for my new Garmin Dash Cam 47. I wanted the convenience of using the dashcam in my motorhome as well as my auto. I didn't like the idea of mounting self adhesive metal plates in each vehicle as this limited me to mounting locations. The suction mount gives me the ability to mount it anywhere on the windshield. It seems very heavy duty for the small dashcam and it is rigid once installed. I am very happy with this purchase.
