I didn't realize how much I would love this
Such an elegant solution! We have a community kitchen where we have washcloths, all kinds of scrubby things, the The Ringer - The Original Stainless Steel Cast Iron Cleaner, Patented XL 8x6 inch Design for our cast iron pans - all that we want to dry out between uses. I was desperate to have a place to hang this menagerie, so had picked up the Norpro Pasta Drying Rack. Thought this unfinished wood pasta rack promptly began to mildew/mold underneath the wet things (in hindsight I could have oiled it I suppose), took up HUGE amounts of precious counter space, some of the dowels broke, and water kept gathering underneath the wood base. Not great. Then, I ran across this Yamazaki dishcloth hanger. I thought it was expensive at first, but now I think it was worth every bit. We can hang all that we need on here, and even the Ringer will stay on well enough, (though sometimes we use a clothespin to anchor it when it seems extra slippery metal on metal). No rust, no fuss, easy to wipe up underneath and tidily sits at the back of the counter out of the way. It's not tall enough for a dish towel unless you fold the towel at least twice, but it's the perfect height for washcloths and scrubbies. It gave us our counter back in an ingeniously tidy way!

Very well made
This rack has a very nice black finish coating. It's a good size and height for hanging washcloths. And it is very well made--no unsightly seems or welds etc. It's best used on the horizontal. They show it in a vertical position but it gets a tiny bit wobbly that way and could use some rubber feet to stabilize it in that position. You don't need that in the horizontal--it stands firm. It's simple, elegant, and gets the job done. I'm happy with it.

A bit disappointing
It’s exactly what I wanted, but it feels flimsier than expected. The other Yamazaki Home items I own feel much sturdier and well-constructed. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.Overall, I can’t say it was worth it. I probably shouldn’t have paid this much for the ~aesthetic. If price isn’t a factor for you, though, go for it! It’s cute and does the job.

Almost a Piece of Art
Recently, my wife learned to knit using Youtube. A feat on it's own! She started making dishrags, and we didn't have a good place to dry them. I remembered that I had seen dishcloth holders somewhere, and went on Amazon to find one. the Yamazaki is the very best! It's the right size, you can put things under it, it dries the dishrags in record time and it fits in a small space and is very attractive, like Danish modern art! What's not to like? Will buy more as she makes dishcloths for friends and attach this hanger to the gift as well. A great product

I didn't know I needed this but I did.
I didn't know I needed this but I did. I was shopping for another Yamazaki item, and not for this but when I saw it, I realized someone had provided a solution to a problem I didn't know or admit I had. I usually have 2 and often 3 wet dish rags that need to dry out. The "nice/good" one, the heavy duty "scrub" rag, and another one. It is very simple, just as it appears. It is very sturdy. It stands on its own. It can be moved anywhere. The design is unobtrusive and so does not call attention to itself. But it is very functional. And there are probably many other uses for it. Like other Yamazaki items, it t comes in black or white -- if I were to ask for anything different, I would want it in gray or metallic color.

Wish it were made of heavier material.
I like the idea of the product, but it kept toppling over on my counter because it's so lightweight. I tried using it upright for a bit and then tried turning it on its sides, but it wasn't level, so it kept falling over that way, too. I don't know if it's the manufacturer's fault or it was returned that condition (it was an Amazon Warehouse purchase and those items are used items), but either way, it was useless to me and I returned it. I wish they made it with a heavier metal to give it some heft.

Not usable
This is so flimsy it almost falls over on its own, much less when you try to put a towel on it. The concept is good and would work if made out of a heavier material. Disappointing as it looks really nice.

Sturdy, minimalist
I loved how sleek and simple this tower is. I’m not using it to hang very long towels but it has made my sink setup a lot less cluttered looking. The hooks snap into place and are easy to move. I also like that you can either sit this tower on its side or horizontally. The vertical position worked out well and I was able to slip the tray I already had underneath to hold my soaps and such. I love the look, the price was decent and it’s very sturdy. The metal is even and it is not warped so that it sits really nicely however you orient it. I’m really happy with this product right now.
