Great pad! Super cute. 🥰 Can't merge 2 pads. 🥺
I bought this mat some time around when my child was about 5 to 6 months old. They were right at the stage where they had mastered tummy time and were starting to show signs of crawling. I wanted a surface for them to explore that I could sanitize and that would offer some cushion. I ordered 2 grey mats to go under the xl 22 panel baby gate fence I purchased. My child is nearly two now and we are still loving it. Delivery went well. They did have a faint scent of vinyl but nothing overbearing or upsetting. The mat has some great quality. The print looks great. Their is just enough weight to it and texture on the bottom that it helps grip the floor to keep it from sliding accidentally even with no weighted items on it. The puzzle pieces went together so well that the transition from peice to peice is almost invisible when put together. There is not as much cushion as my expensive extra thick Jade yoga mat but definitely more give and bounce than you would expect to find from those cheap foam Walmart letter mat kits. I'm in my mid 30s and I could drop to a knee on it. I wouldn't practice backflips, but I'm feeling old and its not a gymnastics mat. I was upset to find that due to the image sizing that there was no possibility to link different mats together to create one larger one with the visual pattern intact. I genuinely couldn't believe that the design plan for repetition could be that poor so I spent far too long thinking it was merely user error. The pattern repeat simply isn't sized properly to do it no matter how you arrange the peices so don't buy this thinking it could. The pattern repeat size is the size; it won't work. The mats were pricey too so I did expect a bit more thought into the design. I thought to return them because of the repeat issue but they were still the prettiest and calmest looking mats I could find so I kept them. I don't know why it is so hard to find a play mat that isn't so loud. I wanted my baby's toys to be loud and bright; not absolutely everything in the room. Once the mats were covered with toys and baby gates it was harder to notice the transition when they are placed side by side. I had to do a butt seam to get the most out of the square footage. The edges did lie perfectly flat to one another when I initially got them... but I had a large spill of water when someone put a cooler nearby and forgot to close the drain. I had to take every. single. peice. apart for the puzzle edges to dry before putting it back together. Some were standing vertical against a wall and after only a day there was a mostly unnoticeable flex in some of the peices. Each peice as a whole had no noticeable change but the butt seam where each rug met no longer layed as flat and that WAS noticeable. I considered taping the transition down to my tile floor or even just to other peices but I didn't want picking it up and separating it to be an issue later in the event of another spill. I had to put things on it where I normally wouldn't in order to weight it down and it did lay flatter but never fully recovered despite the summer heat and weight on it. During that snafu I also learned how much the sun had bleached the image in the few months I had owned it. I didn't put it together exactly as it was after the spill and found when I put an edge of matting that got very little sun next to one that got a lot it is undeniably visible that there is a color difference. It is in an air conditioned sunroom so I knew that sun fading faster than normal was a possibility. I had tried to use the flattest edges for the butt seam (what was farthest from the spill in the center of the room) but found that the sun fading was more visibly noticable than the uneven mat heights at the butt seam. Once I put everything back to its original placement to the other peices you couldn't tell. Its been over a year now and the mats have held up well. They still look amazing. Almost new. We have an indoor toddler playground sitting on it and the sun fading isnt so harsh that you can see an outline of the playground. It doesn't look like it will need to be trashed any time soon, but when it does look worn I will likely be only because of fading or my toddler realizing they can stab or tear it. When the time comes to retire it I plan to repurposed it into a rug pad for the playroom because the cushion is so great. I have no regrets.

Great play mat!
Go ahead and purchase two. One is an awkward size but once you have two, it’s a nice size and perfect for an active baby or toddler! It’s very comfy, I do not hesitate to get down on the floor and roll around/play! It has held up great too. I have since added a rug to my son’s room but left some of the squares underneath so it’s still soft to sit and play on! I have two big dogs so unfortunately their claws have poked holes throughout, but I feel like that is expected with this type of material. I would still recommend and would definitely repurchase! Super easy to clean too, just a wet rag to wipe off whatever mess!

Not perfectly repeating when fitting 2 sets together
These are alright. A little overpriced if buying more than one as sites that sell similar products offer deals on larger sets. My biggest issue with these foam mats is when fitting two sets together the pattern is not perfectly repeating. Wish these came in larger sizes (8x10 and 10x12)!!

Cute product
So cute and easy to put together. I wish you could use them as individual squares as well but the outer pieces only fit a certain way so you can’t. Other than that it’s good quality and easy to clean.

Terrible cut and quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Product peels and not cut evenly.

Peeling issues resolved
Has this mat for 2 weeks when it started peeling, you can see that in picture how bad it got before I finally had to get rid of it. EDIT:company sent me a new mat after I submitted this review, I’ve had the new one for over a year and no peeling issues, not sure why I did with the first one

Getting scratched up after just a couple of weeks
I bought 4 sets of these to cover my living room floor for my toddler and newborn. After less than two weeks of installing them they show significant wear from my pets walking on them, they are already scratched up and I am finding small pieces of foam around. I purchased these after having the House of Noa foam tiles which lasted for about 2.5 years before starting to peel. These popsykosy mats were advertised as not peeling but it seems that without the protective layer they are not nearly as durable. I feel like I would have been better off buying another set of the type I had before since they at least lasted a few years before starting to peel. Also, I attempted to buy these mats directly from the retailer first. The company contacted saying that they were actually out of stock of the color I wanted but that they could send me an alternative color. Before getting back to them (within a few days) I received a different color that I didn’t want and was charged for them. I tried several forms of contacting Popsykosy to get guidance to return them and received no response. Finally asked my credit card company to stop payment and Popsykosy apparently let them know that they provided the item I ordered so I could not get refunded to my card. So I have now also paid for the wrong color with no way to return. Not very happy with this company.
