Great map case for land Nav

It does not leak
When sealed properly, this map case is completely air-tight and waterproof. I have taken this map case through some of the worst weather imaginable on one of the worst land nav courses in the country. It completely protected my map.

Did exactly what we bought it for. Seems to be of good quality. Bought a second one )for our second kayak) after being happy with the first one.

Waterproof and tricky
The case is waterproof and large enough for the maps I needed to use it for. The inside of the case is a bit "tacky" texture so it was kind of difficult to put the map inside because the paper didn't want to 'slide in' to the sleeve due to the tackiness of the plastic/rubber material or whatever it is made out of. After some finagling I eventually was able to get it inside OK, but it did take a bit of working to not bend and fold the map while edging it into the corners of the sleeve.

Nice and durable - heavy duty. Getting ziplock to close is a pain though - lick or spit helps.
