I have no dashboard.** A: I don't think so. You could glue a small platform for it on the vertical surface. Remember, it measures inclination. It has to be vertical to measure it well. **Q: can you mount this to the ceiling of the car?** A: The mount uses 2 sided tape and will only stick to a metal or plastic surface. Only thing I don’t like is how bouncy it is.
