These fit a rifle or shotgun with a wooden stock much easier. But they mount to your wall, then they slip around the stock and barrel, and they look nice holding a rifle with a nice wooden stock. The leather might look a bit out of place against a synthetic stock, I dunno. Of course, make sure you mount these screwed into a wall stud!

Very good product. Quality and durable. The only thing is that it can be hard to adjust the slides depending on what you are trying to do.
