GENNEL 1.5mm x 25M Clear Double Sided Strong Adhesive Tape for Mobile Phone Laptop LCD Screen Case Repair

I used this to attach my screen to the back of the laptop cover. Accidentally bought the wrong size because it was smaller than the one that comes on the initial screen.

When applying, take your time and do small areas at a time. I had a project to install under counter lights and needed a strong clear, double stick tape. This stuff was perfect! If you roll it out slowly and press as you are rolling, things go well. if you make a mistake and try to remove it, it will often not restick well or bunch up.Pro TipsRun the tap across, not with the direction of the item you are installing. This allows you to adjust the item as you are installing it and correct as needed without removing the tape. Refer to the picture.Once the tape is adheared, PRESS IT DOWN REALLY HARD before trying to remove the red backing. Otherwise, you risk removing the tape rather than the red backing.

I taped a screen in and it fell off after a couple months

I needed something that was double sided and thin.. problem with thin double sided tape is it’s usually not very sticky. This one is crazy sticky and did everything I needed it to do. Definitely recommend this tape!

The tape arrived exactly on time. I was using this for an LCD panel replacement for a 15.6" laptop screen. My laptop had 8mm wide strips for the backside of the panel (down the right-and-left sides) and 1.5mm for the front bezel (all four sides), so I purchased a roll of each.I did not (and neither should you) put the adhesives directly on the LCD panel itself. Since mine had adhesive on both sides of the panel, I put the 8mm on the inside of the back cover on the left-and-right sides (nothing along the top and bottom) and the 1.5mm all around the inside of my bezel that was reinstalled at the end - again, this matched the adhesives I removed when taking the old LCP panel out. It's only been a few weeks, but the adhesive seems to be doing its job. I have been using the laptop daily for many hours a day (on at least 10 hours for work and play) and I close the lid each night. So far nothing has budged!
