Works great
We have had ours for about 2 months and have 3 of these. The pups have tested the fence a few times each and the batterys just now need replaced. I think it is a good system and we are way happy with it.

Batteries are not very good
Batteries are not very good for the price but the door won’t work with out them Need to make rechargeable ones that would be more Eco friendly pretty spendy for a very short life

Battery life is awful
The product works great, just as any other would. The battery only lasts about 3 weeks. With two dogs, that’s about $250/ year we will spend on batteries. These batteries should be updated to allow for recharging or longer battery life. I put this system in to avoid the high costs of other systems. They will very quickly equal out with this terrible battery technology.

Battery Life is a Lie!
The collar works ok but in the website's review it says that once the dog learns to stop testing the fence and barking a lot that the battery will work for approximately 2 months. I have the bark control off and do not use an electric fence so that is off too and I have it on low power mode (collar is off except when dog is in motion) and the battery barely lasts 1 month. When I called to ask about it the phone rep said the website was wrong and the collar should last about a month on a battery. That was two months ago and the website has not been changed. They are directly misleading consumers.
