Educational and fun
Our 3 year-old has just started nursery and is very eager to broaden her scope of language. This educational book is produced by Collins which is a reputable production company for books in line with national curriculum. This is especially helpful as all terms are British, unlike some books which are full of Americanisms. The book is packed full of activities for children to learn new words, in conjunction with help from a parent. All the pages have illustrations to help with words and recognition, which are engaging for 3 year-olds.The book is aimed at children between 3-5, and while it is certainly challenging for younger kids in this age range, my daughter loves trying a new activity each day. There is a full page of answers at the back so that children can check their work.Overall an enjoyable and educational book, great for any pre-schooler eager to learn. Thanks for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Good mix of activities for 3-4 year olds...
I think this is a decent 20 page activity book for 3-4 year olds to expand existing vocabulary using familiar objects/themes/settings to learn new words. It’s a vocabulary-building book but the activities require skills like pen control and logical thinking so it feels interactive and fun working through the tasks; there’s a reasonable mix of activities including things like spot-the-difference and dot-to-dot as well as lots of identification of the right objects and ticking, circling, colouring them in.It's not the most colourful or inspiring book but the illustrations are generally clearly drawn and easy to identify, differentiate etc. The pages are a bit thin and see-through but it’s a single use activity book so I think the quality is as expected and on a par with other activity books we have. Not bad really. There’s an answer page at the back of the book.

Vocabulary Activity Book
I love any type of home learning book that supports the national curriculum and enables me to support my little one at home in his learning journey. This one is aimed at 3-5year olds and is aimed to be complete in conjunction with parental support. This guide takes you through step by step and builds on knowledge and skills in vocabulary in a range of topics so your little one can boost their vocabulary and confidence at home. Each page is easy to understand and accessible with a range of practical questions to engage your child. It also build on things like pen control and problem solving as they complete tasks so you can build on those skills too.I like that this home learning support is relevant and supportive to both child and parent alike and would certainly recommend the series from what I have seen so far.

Great learning activity book for ages 3-5
This Collins vocabulary activity book for 3-5 yr olds is a great little book full of many activity’s for the child to do. The activities aren’t overwhelming and easy to explain and understand by an adult when sat with them. My 4yo old (who turns 5 tomorrow) enjoyed doing the activities in this book. She went through and picked and chose which ones she wanted to do. The stars at the front of the book are there to be coloured in when they’ve completed an activity. Although she got a little over zealous as you can see and wanted to colour them all in bless her. The book is quite thin, so it’s not overwhelming for the child into thinking there is lots to do, but the pages are full of activities (mainly 2 on each page) so there’s a few to do.

Happy
Not a bad book with 20 or so pages that help pre-schoolers build on their vocabulary. The activities in the book also give children the opportunity to practise their pen control, with colouring activities, drawing lines to match certain descriptions, dot to dot activities,Vocabulary covered includes words on the farm, cooking in the kitchen, actions, the weather, construction and textures of materials, jobs, music, clothes and the things we wear, feelings and emotions, pets, sports and games, at the park, measuring and position, shapes, transport, toys, where we live, arts and the zoo.Simple illustrations accompany the activities which are written in bold clear text.
