La Cebolla Roja Sweet & Tangy Pickled Red Onions, 12 OZ

These are A-maz-ing. I have been craving pickled red onions ever since I had them in a taco at one of my favorite southwestern restaurants and these hit the spot. They are definitely restaurant/homemade quality. I put these onions in a Mediterranean wrap and they were wonderful but I imagine they'd be great in a salad or a taco or practically anything where you need a touch of sweet and acid. I also like that the ingredients listed are simple common ingredients instead of a bunch of chemical junk. I will definitely buy more in the future. Do not let the lack of reviews dissuade you from giving these a try.

Great for quick ad on to dishes or by itself.

I make a pretty mean Taco, if I don’t say so myself. However, a friend suggested I order these as an add on for sandwiches or salads. I laughed in their face and asked “salads?!” and immediately threw some on the nearest taco. The reality quickly set in that I would need to be ordering much more of this product. Perfect mixture of pickled and sweet that makes the taste buds dance. You don’t have to take my word for it, for the price it’s defintiely worth ordering and trying and proving me right.

I had high hopes for this - I can't get enough of pickled red onions and thought this was the beginning of a beautiful new relationship. I was disappointed to find that the jar was partially opened, even inside the bubble wrap, and leaked all over the box. With the heat, it meant the onions were spoiled and thus inedible.Before my purchase, I had read other reviews about the same issue, but thought, "Must've been a fluke - surely it won't happen to me!". Well, it did. The jar was lightly dented. For it to be occurring so often, something must be wrong with the type of jar or lid or they're simply not learning to use more protection.The item is listed as non-returnable, but that's unacceptable if the item arrives damaged. I contacted Amazon and got a refund. I would love to try again, but now it feels like a coin toss and I don't want to be marked as a serial complainer by Amazon.

I thought these onions were pricey, but bought the first jar and thought they were so good as to be worth the money. Second jar was less satistying. There was little color and the onions were not nearly as tasty. Have not decided whether to buy a 3rd.

I bought this jar of pickled onions for pork tacos. I can’t find these in any of my local stores. They taste great and are the perfect addition to food. Just make sure to use them before they go bad! They are pricey!

SO GOOD. If you're trying to achieve that amazing taco or salad or sandwich you had at a restaurant once, this does the trick! Super crunchy, thin strings, lots of flavor. I was worried they would be bloated like some pickled items are, but nope! Worth every penny!
