I can not say enough good things about this bottle. I left it in a car in 90 degree heat for 5 hours and it still had ice in it. I bought this one specifically for the rubber base. It allows me to set it on top of a cars' hood/roof/trunk and never scratch it. The way more expensive yeti has a steel botomn. That would lead to angry customers 😂. I measured the temp every hour for 6 hours and at hour 4 it was colder than at hour 3. If left in a cool envirement the water temp will stay around 32 degrees. I'm a mechanic and I have dropped it on concrete, drug it across the side of a truck and dropped in on porcelain flooring from 4 feet. So far it's developed on a few lite scuffs. The powder coating is phenomenal. It's easy to clean and grease doesn't stick to it. I simply wipe it off. If you have smaller hands you can fit them inside to clean but my big mits require a bottle brush. I loved it so much I got my mom one in Florida. She uses it for hot tea and it routinely keeps her tea really warm over night. Not hot hot but still really warm.

Durable, Sturdy and easy to use water bottle. I have use this pelican bottle for about a month now and I really like it. I ordered 2 more. I make shakes and it holds the cold all day. My ice stays ice almost 3 days. It’s a perfect size it fits in on my lunch bag. It’s a perfect amount of servings for water at one sitting. The wide mouth opening makes it easy to clean and drink from.

Not much to say about an insulated water. It seems like there must be 100 different brands to choose from these days. As a fan of pelican products I wanted to give this a try and it did not disappoint. Built rock solid and I really like the matte black finish. I can attest it will easily keep ice for over 72 hours because I tested it before using it. Not that you really need a water bottle of this size to hold water for 3 or more days but it's nice to know it can. For those wondering, it does fit in my cupholder although it is a snug fit. I'd also like to point out all the accessory tops for yeti bottles will fit perfectly on this bottle. I personally bought a yeti "chug mug" top for days I'm in and out of the bottle alot and it works perfectly and is much more convenient. For days that I know I won't be in and out of the bottle as much, I use the original top because it holds ice longer than the yeti. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase! With the pelican lifetime guarantee how can you go wrong?!

This item has a wonderful rubber bottom to keep it from sliding and falling. The lip of the bottle is wide and easy to clear. However - it is too tall to fit in a standard dishwasher so it requires handwashing. It does require a bottle brush to scrub, but we just use it for water so we do not scrub it very often. Overall great product and great quality for holding 60 oz. I would recommend this purchase as long as you are prepared to hand wash.

I absolutely adore this little thing. The wide handle on the cap comfortably fits three average sized fingers and with the rubberized grip it's easy to carry with any number of fingers in any orientation. The powder finish makes it easy to grip even when wet, and the base is a grippy rubber that provides great stability, even when filled. I was concerned that it would be a pain to drink out of having to open it each time but the lid comes off in two quick turns. The lip is rounded making it one of the most comfortable bottles I've drank from. I use it as an all-day, all-purpose canteen and cucumber water easily stays cool for 12 hours overnight, but I usually refresh it in the morning so I haven't tested the 24 hour claim. I'll also use it for sweet chai and it easily keeps comfortably steamy overnight. On top of that, the bottle is easy to clean, a bit small for a hand so a bottle brush is a must. There are three components: the bottle interior, the lid, and a removable rubber gasket on the lid. That rubber gasket creates a first seal, but the grey (black model) rubberized portion at the base of the lid acts as a secondary seal which prevents ant liquid from the threads leaking. Overall this bottle has replaced drinking glasses and mugs almost entirely for me and I suspect it would perform just as well for picnics, walkabouts, and certainly hiking (be conscious of the amount you need though, it's no camelbak).

I was pondering the idea of getting a 36oz Yeti I saw in stores but I couldn’t really justify spending $50 for something that will basically just hold my water. I’m not a cheap man either. I own many pelican cases for my Astronomy and camera gear. Sometimes spending more gets you more but I can’t see the pelican bottle being worse than the Yeti. It has a lifetime guarantee and it oozes the pelican build quality we are used to. I’d avoid the more expensive yeti and pick up the pelican for sure. Heck, I might add the coffee mugs as well. Chose this after many glowing reviews. Unfortunately it was damaged on arriv. Poor packaging as it was just in a bubble bag. Otherwise decent build quality. I feel the only thing it's missing is a lid. Compared to my thermos that has the lid this is a little harder to use but is otherwise build really well.
