Metal Timer Lock - Electronic Time Padlock with LCD Display - USB Rechargeable (Black)

I was a little sketchy about it, figured the electronics would be low quality. But no, it works right every time, charges properly, the instructions are accurate, and the body is physically solid. Locking mechanism more serious than expected. Quite pleased. Only wish it could go higher than four days :)

Good for a bit of extra discipline. It isn’t super secure if you want to break into it you can. Works well for the price.

The lock is simple to use. You do have to read the tip sheet provide with the lock to learn the basics. Less 1 minute read and that's it.

Zero stars. Received it yesterday. I charged it overnight. It was on, did a 5 minute test, it worked. I locked it onto my lockbox and the screen went dark. I plugged it in thinking maybe it needed more charge. Nothing. Now my laptop is locked up and I will have to go buy some bolt cutters to get it out.

The timed locking padlock works well. Instructions are easy to follow. Easy to charge, however, product does not come with charging box; just the charging cord.

This lock seems to work exactly as intended. It has been working for months, seems to hold a charge well, and always releases on schedule. While I would never trust it with safety-critical functions without some form of backup, I've found it very useful. The one quibble is that it can be a little difficult to program, especially in low-light conditions.

Update to this review.They are too easy to get into. I just gave them a good shake with a little bit of added frustration and they popped right open. Completely blew my process. I think they should be just a little more secure. They are called locks. I can’t give them great marks if they don’t keep anybody out.These are simple to operate little locks. They do a great job of discouraging misbehavior. The build quality is excellent (it’s not a security device.) It is easy to use and above all it helps me out with something that I was fearful I was not going to find any help with. It feels like a godsend. I have a small quibble with their time adjustment design. It’s not complicated in any way, just a little bit time-consuming.

it's super easy to override this lock so it can't be used for heavy security, but I design and run escape style puzzle events and this is exactly what I wanted to throttle clue delivery to a certain time.it is well made, easy to use, and it's cool looking. it builds suspense in a puzzle sequence very well.
