Lovely Flats, Great for Travel
I bought these in black and fell in love as soon as I saw them in person (in fact, I immediately signed back onto amazon and ordered the suede version, which are also gorgeous). These shoes are basically an actual ballet shoe with a rubber bottom, which is exactly what I wanted.Although there isn't a picture on amazon of the shoes folded up, these are the Bloch version of foldable ballet flats; they arrive folded up in a smaller-than-normal shoebox, and they come with a nicely made little pouch, so you can keep them in your bag. The first time I wore these was to the airport for a coast-to-coast flight, and the combination of comfort & being lightweight and easily stowable made them great travel companions! The leather is very soft and supple, and the suede-lined interior of the shoes feels amazing when you slip them on. They are extremely lightweight--again, this shoe is the closest thing I've seen to an actual ballet shoe, while still being street-wearable. Because of this, they look very delicate and sleek on your foot--I found them to be very refined looking (I hate when "ballet" flats are clunky and awkwardly shaped), especially for a foldable shoe. The potential negative is that I don't know if they're made for constant/everyday wear. They seem to be very well constructed from high-quality materials, but just by nature of the foldable design I imagine that in time, the part of the sole that isn't covered with rubber would start to get worn down by pavement/etc, and I don't think you would want to wear these in inclement weather (again because of the split-sole). And, of course, because one of the main features of the shoes is their ability to fold away as compactly as possible (and they do that VERY well--they don't take up very much room at all), you're going to lose out on things like arch support and extra padding in the footbed. But then again, a lot of other ballet flats have those issues too!I found them to be incredibly comfortable; they don't dig in anywhere, and I walked around outside for hours before my feet started to feel a little tired from constantly pounding the pavement without a whole lot of cushioning/support.And last, anyone who's bought Bloch shoes knows that the sizing can be a bit odd--the shoes are usually smaller than expected. Since everyone's feet are different it's hard for me to give a specific recommendation, but I generally wear a 38 in Bloch (my usual size is 7.5, and I have a wide foot) and that's what I ordered in these. They did feel a bit snug at first, but just like actual ballet shoes, the pliable leather relaxes and molds to your foot very quickly. I think you'd be better starting off just a wee bit snug than getting them too big.

Great slipper-like flat!
Got a 10 after reading other reviews. I'm almost always a 9.5. You can use the tie at the front to make the slipper a little tighter - which is great. These flats are very comfortable - minimal support - but I wear for a 8.5 hour workday & am comfortable ALL day + no break in period - great fit from the start.

Wrong color, sizing
The color is a lot darker than on the picture. The sizing is smaller than other Bloch's I have. The quality is not good - threads all over sticking out, the ribbon is loose on front inside the shoe.

Too small but well made
Way too small. These need to be returned unfortunately. I usually wear a 91/2 and cannot get my footInto the 91/2. My daughter who is a nine could just force her foot into the shoe but could not wear them they were so tight However I gave them three stars because they are good quality, appear well made and have lots of cushioning.

The Perfect, Flexible Ballet Flat
These shoes are comfortable, soft, flexible, low-profile, attractive, and wonderful. I love them. The sizes run significantly small, so mind the size you purchase; I usually wear an 8.5 and have narrow to medium feet...but have to wear a Euro 39.5 despite that ostensibly translating to a 9.5 US. These shoes also run narrow, and will be unlikely to fit wide feet. If you need support, these are not the shoes for you; they do not have any and rely on the strength of your feet. For me, with my foot size and shape and my own flexibility, these shoes are not only comfortable, but a dream. I also think they are some of the cutest and most flattering shoes I've owned. I LOVE the deep purple/eggplant! I hope these never stop being produced...but at least my pair will last a while; they are VERY well-constructed.

I feel as beautiful as a ballerina
But with far more comfortable feet! These are DIVINE - they're like bedroom slippers. The tie allows adjustable fitting (which is perfect for those of us with strange sized feet) and the soft buttery leather is so nice next to your skin. Note: They have ZERO, and I mean, ZERO support and very little in the way of a sole. I wouldn't recommend them for individuals who have foot problems/pain. I've gone to more minimal shoes for daily wear so to me, these are exactly what I need but I doubt I would walk miles in them.Very wonderful purchase.

A bit snug
I'm normally a size 8 and ordered an 8.5 - It was still a bit snug. However, I have a feeling it might loosen up after a couple of wears. This is my second pair and for some reason this one feels smaller, don't know why. It's still a great pair to relax after an all-day high-heeled day at the office. A must in any lady's wardrobe.

Great flats
Only a tiny bit large, and so comfortable I don't care at all. The grey is perfect with literally any outfit. I bought them for a wedding I was in, but I wear them all the time now. The sole is extremely minimal, so if you're looking for a good walking shoe or something with support, this is NOT the shoe. Basically it's an actual split sole ballet shoe with extra nice leather.
