Q: Will this slip INTO an existing 4" pvc outlet pipe?

it is exactly what you see. It fits onto sch 40 pvc pipe. Used to filter solids leaving septic tank if the septic tank comes without it already installed.

Q: Is this for a 4 inch pipe?

Yes, this works with both 4" sch40 and 4" sdr35 pipe (adapter ring). This kit come with an adapter ring for the sdr35 pipe. If you are using sch40 on the exit line from the septic, you will take the adapter ring out and not use it. If the exit pipe in the septic tank is sdr35 you will need to use the adapter with it.

Q: Does this Product include the filter, t-baffle, & sd-4 solids deflector or only the filter. The description is not clear on what is included.

No this does not include the SD-4 solids deflector, only the filter.

Q: How often does the filter need to be cleaned?

Their site says 3 to 5 years.......however, your septic health will vary, depending on what you flush down to it. A healthy septic system needs "bugs" to break down waste. Minimize anything that can kill your bugs....bleach, drain cleaners, toxic laundry detergent, etc. Feed your bugs with healthy "food" like the commercial products, OR, try a cheaper version by flushing a handful of the absolute cheapest dog food down any toilet in your house once a week. Your bugs will love it! Your filter will stay cleaner!!
