Strong adhesive and fairly thin and sticks well on uneven surfaces.
I bought this based on online reviews and it is very good for some duct tape tasks. I compare it to Gorilla Tape which has been my standard for years. This is a fairly thin tape and is easily torn by hand. Because it is thin, it will stick well to uneven surfaces with grooves or protrusions. The Duck adhesive is not as strong as Gorilla, but Gorilla is very thick and less flexible. Heating Gorilla makes it work better.Bottom line, the Gorilla is better for a repair where you need to add strength to the surface, such as reinforcing a crack in a box. The Duck tape is good for a light repair or wrapping around a leaking pipe or hose, or joining two pieces of hose where there is not a perfect seal. I dont know how much pressure it will hold and there are special tapes for that purpose.

Works well
This stuff does seem stickier and tougher than the regular duckt tape (as testers suggested in reviews). Worked well to reinforce a plastic "hinge" lid that was falling off a container.

Top Quality Duct Tape
This duct (Duck) tape works well in a number of applications. It has a good "feel" as to thickness, ease of tear and, of course, the all-important "stickiness". In sum, good stuff!

Don't get the cheap stuff by this
Hey so why did the duck cross the road? Because he was kidnapped by the chicken. It's silver and sticky and I'm sure if you put it on your car you could easily say it would stay on there at 200 mph. Not that I condone doing 200 miles an hour I'm just saying I think it would last at 200 miles an hour. I think I have 200 stuck in my brain?

Good duct tape
NYT Wirecutter recommended this tape as no. 1. And you always need duct tape! It comes in three colors, so I got all three. I haven’t actually used any yet so cannot comment on that. So far I’m going on the Wirecutter recommendation. I’ll add to this if it isn’t very good. A

Ginormous!
Ginormous duck tape. Adheres to surface great! But to skin it flops off like a mosquito to citronella. However, my main use is for packing, so, A!
