These were not hard plastic. They have a bit of a rubbery texture to them. I think the quality of the item very good. I would have bought them again if I had known what I was getting.

I found my car battery dead one morning and saw that my brake lights were not turning off. I thought I would have to get a new brake light switch ($50!), but after some Google and YouTube searching realized that the little green bits on the floor under the brake pedal were the remnants of my old brake pedal stop pad.I ordered this particular one because it had next day delivery and a decent price. Installed it and violá! Problem solved!I can only hope that this lasts as long as the OEM pad (almost 20 years). Only time will tell...

The original rubber pad wore out, I had a piece of plastic taped over the hole for a while but that kept coming off and leaving me with brake lights stuck on. These snapped right in and fit perfect!

Bought for 1995 Honda Accord. As others have mentioned, this is hard plastic and may be too large to go through the mounting hole. Others have pared down the back post, my solution was to spray white grease on the back post, place stopper, back it with a 10mm socket, and press in using visegrips.Since all three of my switches needed replacement (clutch starter enable, clutch cruise control disable, and brake light) I had to do a more disassembly to get to the starter and brake switches. But they worked for my application and the price was reasonable.Next time I might buy the set with the black stoppers, their back post looks more flexible and could have resulted in an easier install.

These work as they should and arrive as stated.

I returned these, because they didn’t fit my application (2000 Nissan Quest). The hole they would have gone in, was too big. If the listing had a more thorough description (stating installation hole size or the shaft diameter), I wouldn’t have wasted my time buying and trying these. Thank goodness for free returns.I ended up getting the parts I needed from a junk yard. That fixed my constantly on, brake light problem and subsequent dead battery issues. Aside from having to make a trip to the junk yard, and contorting myself under the dash, it was an easy fix.

Easy to install but way more than needed in package, especially if they end up being durable.

Waste of time, obviously it was inexpensive but still an annoyance. Will not fit as these are made out of extremely hard plastic instead of the rubber material. Will have to modify it to work but I shouldn't have to since it said it would work.
