The Best Marmalade Ever
For a true marmalade lover, Frank Cooper Vintage is the best. I have tried every kind I can find, and nothing compares to this one. However, for some reason I have found it hard to buy on the internet. Every single time my half dozen jars arrive, at least one is broken because the packing is so poor. This time 4 jars were broken. They were replaced immediately, but still... The marmalade itself is worth all the aggravation. It has bitter orange peel, not too much sugar, and exactly the right consistency. I first had it in England, where it is immensely popular.

Very Coarse
This is a great tasting marmalade but be ready for some really chunky texture. The pieces roll off of toast because there isn't much of the jelly part. I whisked a sharp knife through the jar for a minute to cut down the biggest pieces but it's still hard to spread. I think it's great on an english muffin, but hard to work on toast.

Really Good!
Has the right balance of sweet to bitter, though I'd have preferred they cut up the chunky rinds a bit more. Of course, I could have paid more attention to what "coarse cut" meant before I ordered it! Now I know. 1/28/14 add: I promised I would try to choose between thus Coarse Cut and the Coopers Fine Cut in my recent comment on the latter. The Fine Cut is a bit sweeter and the rinds are almost unnoticeable; the Coarse Cut is less sweet and more robust, and the rinds are quite noticeable. Both are very, very good. I cannot recommend one over the other, unless the sweetness difference or prominence of rind pieces makes a difference to you. I will continue to enjoy both from here on in.

Good value, far from the best
I decided to try this because it's a better value than a lot of the more premium options out there that have higher-quality ingredients. I don't eat marmalade for my health, so I wasn't really concerned with the ingredients list.Unfortunately, however, the flavor and texture definitely suffer. It has a jello-like consistency with very little orange peel, and I end up using a lot more of it to get the same amount of flavor as I would from more expensive options. Nothing wrong with this product but I wouldn't buy it again nor recommend it. It feels like they took a higher quality marmalade and added a bunch of filler to make it seem cheaper.

Awful shipping
This marmalade is delicious. But the last time I ordered the three-pack, one jar arrived broken and I had to throw it away. The second jar was fine. The third jar, when opened, had a thick layer of grey-green mold over the top, and after I carefully removed that the whole jar still smells moldy. When I opened the packageand saw the broken jar I thought "$20 for two jars of jam is pretty steep." Now I think, "$20 for a single jar of jam is unacceptable --- one star is too much."
