Faster Than Clamp Flarers
These are easy to use, but the 1/4” can be wobbly if you use it in a non-chucked tool like a 1/4” impact driver. Use a hand drill. Ultimately they work well and are a lot faster than the clamp type of flaring tool and consistently good flares are possible.

Works fast
Work great. Lot faster than doing it manually! Word of caution, tubing gets hot very fast! Wear gloves or like myself, channel locks. It will burn blisters on your hands!! Definitely worth the small investment.

Worked but got 2 same size
Worked well with no leaks on a mini split installed . I did get (2) 1/4 flare instead of a 3/8 unfortunately though .

Does the trick
I took a chance and tried these out. They work just fine. Experiment and practice a couple of flares on scrap copper before you make the flares that count.

Not good
As a 60 year skilled tradesman these will work but only when used under circumstances where they can be held solid or otherwise you may wallow out the tubing and still not have an acceptable flare. I don’t recommend

Drill! Not IMPACT!
DO NOT PUT INSIDE OF AN IMPACT. It works well if you put it in a regular drill BUT NO IMPACT! I had just ordered a marital from Japan and I had put one of these bits in it. It never came out. Never got to use the impact again 😮💨

Made a good flare fitting
I used the spin flaring tool on a 1/2" copper line to hook up an oil supply line for my oil burner. I only used it once but it was simple and easy and made a proper flare. I can't comment as to the longevity of the tool but it worked great the one time I used it.

They are completely useless Even if you use a clamp they make horrible flares

So easy to become misaligned and bugger up an intended flare. Would be ideal in a drill press. I wouldn't buy again.
