Must have for baby led weaning
When we started BLW with our son I struggled to find a proper bib that protected his clothes but didn't get in his way. I ordered several and ended up buying 6! of these bibs despite the comparatively higher cost.Other sleeved bibs I tried were typically were sized 0-3 years which is a huge age span for anything wearable and either made with cheap, plastic material that had huge balloon sleeves and was prone to bunching up around the neck, or made with heavy waterproof lining that wasn't breathable and far too much of that material would need to be tucked around his waist and lap. These bibs are made with terry cloth material and only the front bib has a waterproof backing (this has never been a problem though in terms of keeping him clean and dry during meals). They are also sized 6-12 and 12-36 months so they fit snugly and comfortably like a shirt and never get in his way while eating. I bought 2 in 6-12 months and 2 in 12-36 months so I had 4 bibs in rotation with a little buffer in case the laundry didn't get done every day. This worked fine and while the 2 smaller ones were preferable until he was about 10 months old, I just rolled up the sleeve cuffs on the larger sizes until then and they still worked great. At 10 months I bought another 2 in 12-36 months and retired the smaller ones. I would never dream of using anything else. I absolutely love these.

Works well, can't beat the price.
My 16 month old had been ripping off his bibs for months, and I spent most of his nap times soaking out food stains on his clothes. Can't believe I waited so long to get a smock bib! I ordered this one as well as the bumkins bin that ties in the back. This one is great: the terry cloth material allows liquids to soak in some rather than just roll off it (like the bumkin,) but the inside is lined with a soft water resistant material. Nothing has leaked through it thus far. My baby is pretty tiny for his age, but even so, I haven't had problems with food falling through the neck hole (as I saw in other reviews.) A bib under the smock could help if this is a concern. I also haven't had a problem getting the smock over his head and off, even if it's dirty. I just wipe off big food chunks before lifting it over his head, and we've had no problems. Overall it's soft, works well, and a good price. Worth a try if you are looking for a cloth smock option. My only suggest pertains to the length. We haven't had problems with it yet, but I could see why you might want the front to drape down further over the legs. As for now, the length is good and covers some of his lap.

Does its job better than any bib. Baby cannot easily pull it off.
This bib definitely protects clothing. It is also the only bib my baby can not pull off. The cuffs fit nice and snug so food doesn't go down the sleeves. It is a great bib. The only problem is - you need to own several and they are pretty expensive. Since you can't wipe it down - it must go in the wash after each use. If you forget to put it in the wash it gets mildewy pretty quick. Despite this - if I had the money - I'd buy 10.

Fantastic Bib
This bib is fantastic. I've used other long sleeve versions that are made from that thin plastic material, and while yes, they clean up really easily, they're still really messy while the baby's eating because the food doesn't soak into it, it just sits there, waiting to be rubbed on baby's face, in mommy's hair or on the table/chair. This bib has a terry cloth cover that works like a bib and a napkin, but the backside of the front still has that water resistant plastic layer so things won't go all the way through to baby's clothes. It's brilliant.Getting it of without getting the food all over baby was easy once I figured it out - put a hand under the back panel, reach through the neck opening and flip the bib over baby's head, then take arms out. That way, the messiest part in the front never touches baby's head/hair when you take it off.As for sizing, the 6+ month size fits my 5 1/2 month old well. It's a little loose around the neck and the arms are a good length, and while it covers well even now, it's loose enough that it seems like it will fit for a few more months.

I thought this was a good idea at first with the turtleneck style so the food doesn’t get inside . However, the material stretches out a lot and it leaves a large gap and all the food gets inside. When I try to remove it , it’s a big mess. Had to return it, too bad. Maybe my son is on the tiny side, and the neck area fits really loose in him. He is 15 Months and weight about 18lb. But the sleeve length is great, I don’t know how it can fit up to 36 Months though .
