Just what I needed.
Works well and as described in the ad. My only issue is the clips won't go over the rim and spring back to hold it tight.

Works amazing
The media could not be loaded. I really am happy that I made this purchase. I wanted the dome ans read another review about this that said this was better. Obvpislt rhe price cut made sense for me to at least try and this did not disappoint.1. Very little mess with flying sugar2. Very easy to set up3. Very little stuck cotton candy to the machine (I hear it's normal)4. Makes it easy to spin and reach in and grab all the cotton5. The kids loved being able to see the cotton. Candy being madeTo take ir off clean and put away it was a piece of cake.. warm water sugar and the passing of a rag lightly to was and dry. Put it away easily.I would recommend having the clips ready and for you to put ir opposite of how rhey had ir store so it goes toward the machine and not against it.

Not quite big enough
You need to measure the circumference of your cotton candy maker 'bowl' to see if it will fit. We have a large one and these, individually, were too short. Fortunately there were two so we cut one to size to make up the difference but you need to be aware of that and carry scissors. Also, we had clips for the bigger cotton candy machine (which was fortunate as the clips provided with this did not fit.)I do not think this was the fault of the manufacturer. I just think it was designed for a smaller machine. But take note when buying to insure it will fit yours.

Don't waste your money
Doesn't fit the clips are mor for cotton candy machines only for hemming pants which are flat not for the lip of a cotton candy machine. The plastic is to large and you have to cut it to size. I threw it in the trash what a waste of money!!

Better than a dome
I have used a cotton candy machine for years and always used the dome. I did not get the dome back from my brother when he borrowed my machine though, and did not want to spend $100 on a new one. I got this one for ~$17 thinking it may be worth a try. To my surprise it does a better job keeping strands of candy from flying away than the dome does (not tried in windy weather yet).Couple of tips-Reshape the clips to fit snugly around the lip of the bowl. (mine has a curled over lip with is about 1/4" wide. I bent the clips straighter, then used a fat screwdriver as an anvil to bend the clip around with some pliers.)-When you put the netting on the bowl do it backwards. So where the netting curls in turn it outward so it pushes against the bowl. If you do that you will only have to clip the netting at where the ends meet (I use 3 there).-Trim this to the height of the bowl. Trimming it to height will make it easier to put on, but also if you trim away all the parts of the net that stick out (to be rounded with the holes) it will make grabbing the stands easier with the candy ball when making.-When done, roll the net up and stick it in a ziplock bag. When you get back to a sink, run the rolled net under hot water and all the candy will melt away.

Excellent buy!
I didn't want to buy the plastic bubble top, because of the price and this was supposed to do a "similar" thing. If you buy this, you do not need the plastic bubble. The mesh keeps the cotton candy from escaping out of the tub and going all over. We had set it up in our yard, because I didn't want my kitchen to be a sticky nightmare, but I would not hesitate to bring it inside next time. Clean up is rolling it up, putting it into a bowl of warm soapy water, throwing the clips in, while you clean the machine, then you run it under hot water and use a sponge or a brush if needed and let it dry.
