A nice vacation read
This book was a mental vacation for me. Having just quit her job in England a young woman revisits Kos in Greece where her family spent several vacations. She meets a lot of people and has some great adventures. Of course there is a love interest or two and she plans to track down a sister she just found out about. Very enjoyable read. Makes me want to jump on a plane to Greece.

Greek travel inspiration
Nice storyGreat description of the people, places, restaurants of the Greek islands. There are, however numerous grammatical errors. The misuse of the word set instead of sitting occurs many times. There are other errors involving the proper tense.

Cute & charming beach read
Bit of a different storyline than most rom-coms. Enjoy Roberts' various Greek rom-com escapades - easy to read, with approachable heroines. Not familiar with the British healthcare system, so don't know if the premise of getting paid out a sizeable amount for one's injuries is common? so that sort of made me go "okay..." for the premise of the heroine's financial status, but other than that, enjoyed a bit of a different read than most rom-coms.

Wonderful Escape to Greece
Orla is happy with her life or so she portrays those around her. She needs a fresh start in life and her new beginning must happen now. She packs up and heads to Greece for a vacation of a lifetime. With her dysfunctional family miles away, she is happy with her decision. The warm sun and the sandy beach is perfect. After checking into a quaint bed and breakfast, she soon meets her neighbor, Georgios who is a writer. He spends more time inside with pen to paper writing, than outside living life. Orla begins to pull him out of his shell, and shows him there is so much more to enjoying life than just working. But who is this new found adventure really for, Orla or Georgios, and is Orla’s time in Greece just a vacation or has she found her happily ever after? If you are in need of a beachy vacation, then this is the book for you. Pack your bags because this story will have you packing your bags and heading to Greece. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful descriptions of Greece and the sandy beaches was just what I needed. I found this story to be inspirational, uplifting and utterly delightful. The characters were believable and one’s I would have in my circle of friends. This feel-good and magical story is one that hits all the feels. I laughed, I cried and I definitely recommend it.Thank you Sue Roberts for such a heart-warming story. This was such a wonderful escape. I loved the storyline and I highly recommend it.

Holiday to Greece
The storyOrla is having headaches and blurry vision but dismisses it thinking she has had too much screen time. When she collapses at work, doctors discover a brain tumour. After she recuperates, she decides to take time off work to travel to Greece, to Kos, where she spent several holidays as a child. My thoughtsThis story is written in the first person, which is not always my favourite. However, the details of Orla’s thoughts as she travels, meets up with new people and enjoys the sights in Greece, make for an entertaining read that I really enjoyed. The information flow is well balanced with Orla’s self doubts about her reluctance to “settle down”, and her discovery about a sibling she never knew about. Throw some handsome, single men into the mix, and a spot of romance, this is a fun and easy read.I read an eARC copy courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher.

Wonderful Read
Absolutely loved this book. It certainly was a brilliant "feel-good factor" read. I just let myself drift along with Orla (the main character) as she visited the various islands, beaches, tavernas, restaurants and tourist sites, along with all the characters she met and befriended. Although a book of fiction, it was great being able to "google" all the places and tourist attractions she visited as I was reading it, finding out they are, indeed, real. It certainly lifted my spirits 100%.

Discrepancies
I have read a number of Sue Roberts' books and love them. This one has a good story and is set on one of the Greek islands we have holidayed on more than once. I was disappointed by a major discrepancy in the story. Early in the book there is mention of a benign tumour and a surgical removal. Not a long way further on in the book this is referred to as cancer treatment. A benign tumour is not cancerous! There was no cancer treatment! This probably won't bother a lot of people but as a retired nurse it drives me mad! It has spoiled the story somewhat because I cannot stop thinking about it. I even went back in the book to re-read the earlier part, wondering if I'd missed some pages. There are a couple of other minor discrepancies / errors in printing as well. It is still worth reading though and won't put me off if Suer writes any more - I'll still be snapping up new ones of hers.
