Must-Have accessory for any painting project
If you're going to do any painting, do yourself a favor. If you don't own a drill, go buy the cheapest one at the hardware store. You can probably find one for $30 if you look around. Then buy one of these things for five bucks. Those will probably be the most valuable painting tools you can buy. When I was a kid, we used to have to mix paint by hand with one of those flat sticks. It didn't seem to matter how long we stirred. The paint never mixed completely. Then, hardware stores started carrying those paint can shakers, but I didn't want to go to the hardware store every time I needed to mix paint. It has been a while since I had a painting project. I had one come up this winter, and I conceived of the idea of attaching something to my drill to mix the paint. I decided to see if maybe someone else had thought of the idea, and sure enough.I must warn that you need to look closely at the date that says when it's going to ship. It took about a month to get mine. That's not going to knock any stars off of the review because it's not supposed to. It's just a good idea to check on this item. I ended up buying another one at my neighborhood Ace, so I actually have two of these now.Mixing the paint with my drill on a low setting took maybe a couple of minutes. It was probably faster than that, but I went a lot longer than I thought I needed to simply because I've had bad experiences mixing paint. It did a great job. The paint went on great, and it looks great. It was also very easy to clean afterwards. I used an matte acrylic paint. After I used it, it sat for about an hour. That was long enough for the paint to dry but not cure, and it peeled right off.I hate painting, period. But this thing sure does make it easier to start a job. If you have a drill, it's a no brainer. If you don't have a drill, add $35 to your project budget and save yourself a ton of time.

Perfect drill attachment mixer for thick paint/materials
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this to use with RollerRock patio coating—a paint-like surface treatment with ground stone in it for texture and grip—which is thick and reviews mentioned the need to mix extremely thoroughly and frequently. Works like a charm and I’ve since used it with masonry paint (a little thicker than standard wall paint) and concrete stain (watery thin). It’s super easy to pop into the drill and just as easy to clean up afterward. I like the little rubber cap it comes with as a hook for hanging in storage. The red mixer head is very rigid, but will still bend with force (meaning it’s not brittle and likely to break, even if you smack the sides of the paint can like I do); it’s not a soft/flexible silicone, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Ditch the mixing stick and go with these.
These mix the paint thoroughly and are easy to clean. Well made, and should last a very long time. They were a bit of a workout for my M12 drill, but the M18 handled it fine.

Fits perfect, much easier and faster than mixing with a paint stick
I need this for a five gallon bucket of paint. There was no way I could have mixed the paint with a paint stick and got it all blended. This little unit was so handy and made mixing a breeze. I love how quickly it worked and it's super easy to clean up. You can use it in gallon cans and five gallon buckets. Very handy! I would highly recommend this product. Please let me know if this review is helpful to you. I appreciate your feedback.

Good mixer
Great mixer, probably for paint. I used it to mix epoxy and it introduces alot of bubbles, which isn't what u want. But im sure it'd be a great paint mixer!
