My son (9 yo) received this for Christmas. It is a lot of fun! It’s pretty quick and easy. We like the fun things like the secret cat signal. We love cats, so it’s right up our alley.

Absolutely delightful
What a truly wonderful game! The box quality and quality of the cards is of a standard and finish you would expect from a high-end board game. It’s beautifully made, with lovely, vibrant colours. The instructions are simple and easy to follow, and the illustrations on the cards truly delightful, the cat images are humorous – a-la-Disney style. A personal note too, from the creator of the game, is a really lovely touch.Whilst the game is designed for 2 teams of 2 players, it can easily be adapted for less players, a simple game of snap. The game is simple (no bad thing), yet so much fun, and played quickly so no chance of little ones getting bored waiting for their turn.Overall, this is a wonderful game which I’m sure any little one would be delighted to receive this year from Father Christmas in their stocking – and who doesn’t secretly love cats! Very much recommended. A definite step up from some offerings, so reasonable value in my opinion.I hope this has been helpful

A fun game suitable for adults and children alike
I saw this game and had to order it, with my sister in mind, as she's cat mad and loves games too. The packaging is really attractive and very compact, always good for storage. I liked there was no plastic packaging around the box, just sticky round covers to seal the box. The cards inside are sealed to protect them, the packaging was minimal. The game itself is simple enough, there are instructions included. You need to play in pairs, at the start each pair needs to come up with a secret code to do with cats that they use to each other if they get 4 cards the same. the object of the game is to collect 4 identical cards , each player is dealt 4 cards initially, with 4 in the middle , you can swap your cards with cards from the centre , but a player can only ever have 4 cards in their hand at any one time. There's no turn taking , so it can get messy and competitive, it's definitely a fun game that can be played by all the family. If a member of your pair gets 4 cards the same, they need to use their secret code to their partner to let them know, the partner then shouts out the words 'cool cats' and the cards are shown. If there are 4 cards matched that team receives a point, if not the other teams get a point. This is a lovely, easy enough game, it's a little expensive at£11.99 for what is essentially a pack of cards though. The packaging is good quality and so are the cards, so I would recommend.

Fun game but needs at least 4 players
This is a lot of fun but you do need 4 players at least and any additional players in pairs as you need a partner. So each team decide on a secret signal to communicate that they have a winning hand of four cards of the same cat. Their partner has to shout out not them. So hence the secret signalling, because the other teams can call you out and take the point. It is funny trying to decide if some of the players bizarre behaviour is their secret signals to their partner or if they are trying to catch you out.One of the players is the dealer of the cards and puts 4 cards in the centre. If one of the cards is what you need then you grab it no taking turns. It is a very easy game to understand and play. Lots of laughs and not over long to play.

Easy to play and entertaining team game
This game is pretty easy to pick up and is fast paced, you need at least four players so is good for groups and bigger family gatherings and also is perfect if you have cat lovers in the family. We played with kids ages 10-13, it’s recommended for 6+ and I think that is accurate, depending on the child. My 5 year old wouldn’t play it properly so just dependsThe game is quick and easy and involves secret signals, bluffing and working in pairs so can get quite silly and hilarious when in the right mood

Cat Nap
There are tons of card games available, and they have replaced many a boardgame night. You could play 'Herding Cats' with more normal cards, but there is entertainment to be had with the cat theme. It is a variation on Happy Families, but co-op. Teams of two compete to be the first to get four cats of a kind. When a member has this, they let the other player know with a secret cat signal. You can try and interrupt the win if you spot the tell first. It is all silly fun and works well with a family that likes to play games together. The cards are funny, and the cats look cool, although some are drawn better than others. It is a daft game that will go well in a games cupboard or to take on holiday as it takes up little room.
