Q: How many devices can be connected at the same time to the 5ghz band per mx6 node? any way to make selected devices to connect always to 5ghz? on mx6.

i believe you can hook up to 30 devices and you can sent ones on 2.4 and 5g i have mine set up that way

Try shutingoff tenda 5 megahertz band and try again, the box have an option to temporarily shut 5, setting thing in 2.5 band is easier...then turn on 5 after the device is working on 2.5.

Q: I’m not good with technology. my router from starlink doesn’t have any ports in it. can i use these nodes to create a mesh system wirelessly?

I am not familiar with Starlink but I assume it is a Satellite based internet service. As such you should have a Modem, not a router, if you do not already have a network set up in your home. I assume that you have a coax cable coming into the house that is associated with the Starlink service. If you do the coax connects to the Modem and screws on. There will also be an RJ45 (larger version of the plug land line phones use to connect to the phone service provider) plug on the modem. Plug one of the Tenda WiFi 6 Mesh boxes into that connection on the Modem and then install the two other units in the rooms where you want them. Hope this helps.
