Good picture
Nice little camera. I was expecting it to be slightly smaller but it will work for my application as is. It is easy to hook up. It comes with a little extension cord. It also comes with a hole saw which I didn't notice when I first ordered it. What a nice surprise! Made the installation so much easier and quicker! I have not tried the camera in the dark. For my application, it is always lit. So I cannot evaluate the night vision clarity. Overall I am happy with the camera. If I find anything negative in the future I will update this review.

Flexible, Simple, SUPER inexpensive - But Not Night Vision
Up front, the promotional material is wrong, there are no IRD/NIRD illuminators to support night vision, and though the promotional material does not indicate, the Amazon motion detection option is misplaced, as their is also no motion detection, unless built into whatever vewing system to which you feed it. But at the price, buy them by the popcorn tub and use them anywhere, everywhere.I had recently installed a doorbell on my older RV, which I'm trying to slowly upgrade. When I actually got the camera, the first thing I noticed, was that the barrel of the lens (not the bezel) was slightly smaller than the button on the doorbell. I was able to get that doorbell, for free. So, getting another, and removing the button and innards, I reasoned, would give me a good looking 'matched' doorbell-camera system, if I just went to a little trouble.Since the camera comes with a hole saw, making a hole in the RV doors was merely a matter of putting up with the unhappy orders, sound, and dust the saw blade and the door threw up in protest. As for wiring, the camera is standard NTSC via RCA connectors, such that an old RCA audio cable I had let me extend the camera connection tot he back of my TV. By the time I got around to being brave enough to cut a hole in my door, I had lost the tiny and brief instruction for the camera, and didn't know the voltage, but seeing it was promoted as being for car rearview use, I presumed 12V, and it didn't seem to complain when I wired it to a 12V AC adapter. The cable run was fun. The camera is placed to the inner hinged side of the door, but I ran the cables down the screen door's inner Frame channel, which sits behind the security door with a good two inches of clearance space. Allowing enough length to let the screen be shut with the door wide open, I added a hole for wire pass-through the screen door, and into the cabin. From there, it was only about five feet to the back of my Smart TV, and a bit more to an AC outlet. So, now when the doorbell rings, a press of a couple of buttons on the TV remote will let me see who's there. As to nighttime use, I'm far less likely to have visitors, but if I do, the lack of night vision is not a problem for the camera; my porch light gives enough light to make out a face.Likes: INEXPENSIVE!!! Flexible applications... just add creative ideas, baling wire, and chewing gum. Now, its only HD quality, so if you hook it to a really large TV, it won't seem very sharp if you very close to it. It was at the edge of deciding If adequately sharp on my 55" set, or not, because I sit two feet away from it. Easy to interface to a standard monitor, or add an adapter to make it work with a computer, HDMI, BNC, IP, or any other standard out there.Dislikes: they should include a popcorn tub to encourage you to buy more of them...
