HENCKELS Forged Accent Razor-Sharp 2-pc Paring Knife Set, German Engineered Informed by 100+ Years of Mastery,Black

I bought this set in 2024, in July. They are both exceptional knives. The are heavy, very sharp, in fact the craftmanship is great. The triple rivet handle is shaped so the grip is comfortable and the knife is balanced. I sharpened them 1 time using a steel and the knives retain an edge but I only handwash my knives so that may contribute to their stating sharp.

Great little knives! Super sharp, nice wood handles and very comfortable to use. A great addition to our collection of good quality kitchen knives. Making things even better, the outrageously affordable sale price was icing on the cake. ;-) Highly Recommended.

As soon as you pick these up, you can feel the balance and quality. They feel good in the hands. For me the balanced weight is ideal. Smooth clean cuts thru fruit and tomatoes. Work well with meats also. I would though recommend a good quality cutting board when using these. There is no reason to push down hard on the board surface because they are razor sharp right out of the packaging. I have used them for a few months now and they hold their edge very well. If I am cutting cooked thicker meat, I will use a couple swipes of a metal honing rod to quickly restore them to perfect edge sharpness before cutting. I am planing on buying a few more types of knives from this company. Also, if you don’t have one yet, I’d recommend a wood block to organize the knives. Very handy when working with different meats, food, and breads.

Very nice but if you let your kids see them the tips will be damaged

Sharp, sleek, added to a block set for a lost 3” blade. The 4 inch is more practical for most of my needs. Nice balanced feel in hand.I have my first set that I bought in Germany in 2008, still in superb condition. Though it’s not a perfect match, the cut is all the same.

My mom has worked in a kitchen her entire life. She has also owned her own diner where she was also the cook. So she knows she difference between quality vs mediocre knives. A while back she unfortunately lost most of her belongings and the financial situation was not ideal so she had to sacrifice replacing "luxuries". She is also stubborn and will not accept help. So she bought some cheap knives from a department store and they were deplorable. I decided to order these for her for Christmas. I was concerned that they would not be very good because the price was so affordable. I was wrong. These things are so sharp. They sliced through a tomato like it was air. They have a nice handle and blade length. And it came with a lifetime sharpening offer. My mom is thrilled with them.

Very well made paring knives. Handle fits in hand comfortably. Balance was exceptional. Shape of Handle was ergonomic so easy to use. Blade was very sharp and glides easily while peeling onions, apples or other fruits. Excellent buy for a quality knife.
