I really like the brush and shaving cream! The brush is very soft! The bowl had a small chip and I wish it was a bit heavier. Overall, seems to be a good starter set.

I am SO glad I read all the reviews for these products before I finally settled on this one. A lot of the other ones I looked at had complaints about the brush being too stiff, or the bristles falling out as soon as the brush got a little wet or even some of them smelled like a pile of manure at a barn I’ve read. Normally I just look for a product that has an OK star rating and looks to be about what I need and order it, but as I’m new to wet shaving, I really looked around a little bit before I finally settled on this set. I’ve only used it once or twice so far but I can say the bristles are nice and soft. The hair is not falling out of the brush, the soap makes a good enough lather for a newbie like me And it doesn’t smell bad. It probably won’t be my scent of choice moving forward as I learn more but it’s 1000% acceptable for my first run of products like this. If you take care of the brush and use it the correct way, I think it’ll last an extremely long time. The orange resin disc for the holder looks kind of nice but I wanted a stand that can hold my razor as well so I’m 3-D printing a new stand for the brush and razor but other than that this was a fantastic set and I absolutely recommend it to anybody looking to get into wet shaving. Very happy with this purchase so far and I very much enjoy my new shaving routine

Saves me so much time and I love the Badger fur!

The soap itself doesn't smell great (kinda resembles but spray lol) but obviously the smell doesn't linger, especially if you use aftershave. That is the only negative I have for this product. Definitely worth the money. Would buy again.

It is fun to shave again and get that close shave, smooth skin feel. The brush is soft and feels perfect putting the lather on the face without getting your hands wet. The lathering soap fits perfectly in the metal bowl container. Best of all, the holder stand allows the brush to drip-dry over the soap container and not on the counter.
