I bought this over 3 years ago and other than changing batteries it has needed no maintenance. Looks very nice, ticking sound is not overbearing at all but soothing to me and it keeps perfect time.

I've only had this clock for a short time, but so far I'm pleased. The color is as hoped, based on the description/photos, and it runs accurately and quietly. However, as with some products, it takes a little "fiddling" to get it working properly. Perhaps not ideal, but no problem for me, or, I think, most people. The batteries were slightly difficult to install, but doable. The pendulum arm is soft metal and easily bent. It must be carefully bent straight, and the pendulum weight adjusted as high up the arm as possible. The clock must be hung straight. If these things are done, then the pendulum shouldn't hit the sides of the clock.

Well package ready to put on wall just add two AA batteries and hook the pendulum looks great and when I am quiet nearby I can hear the ticking which actually helps me sleep

The media could not be loaded. This clock looks way more expensive than it was. It’s keeping perfect time. Packaging was very secure and the clock was easy to set up.

This clock came very well packaged, wrapped securely, boxed, and then inside another box to prevent damage. The instructions were very clear and my husband had it put together in about 15 minutes.This replaced an all wood schoolhouse clock we had for 47 years. It needed maintenance once in 2002 and continued to work well up to three days ago. I was looking for something similar for the space I had and this was just a bit smaller. This clock is described as “real solid wood” but to my dismay the only wood is on the back that holds the battery. I was very disappointed as the front of the clock is faux wood grain plastic. We decided to keep the clock, it is very nice looking, but I felt duped that it was not wood on the front.Very well made, looks great in the same space, but be aware that the entire clock is not wood.

Needed to replace a similar shaped clock that gave up the ghost. This one is a perfect replacement, and I actually prefer it over the old one. It's real wood... real glass... and real easy to read from across the room.Arrived packaged very well. The only snag (and we worked it out eventually!) was battery placement. There's a piece of metal that sticks out into the chamber where you need to put one of the batteries... and we were so afraid of breaking "something important" in our (several) attempts to get both batteries properly placed that that part of the process was much more of an ordeal than it needed to be. Other than that, no complaints at all!
