Then even if the product is safe the company has to either go to court to prove the warning is not needed or the company has to settle with the law firm. Currently, the average settlement is around $80,000 and going to court to prove you are innocent costs well over $100,000. Those amounts are for each product that does not have this warning. So these law firms are forcing companies to put these warnings on all kinds of products that may not need them or face huge financial losses.
