I love these inexpensive pliers
I love these inexpensive pliers! I own at least a half a dozen of them. They work great and have little to no rust on them for over 4 years of hawaiian salt spray and dunking in our ocean. Just a rinse and a little WD-40 and I have no issues with the pliers. The cutting surface is still sharp enough to cut mono, no major breakage, even the blue plastic handles are intact. Straight needle nose is my favorite version, spring keeps them open which is helpful when removing hooks while holding fish in one hand. Cheap enough that if I lose them or drop them overboard on my kayak I won't complain. Good enough that I would buy or recommend them to anyone.

Nice for fishing
Overall quality is good, it locks in a closed position, however being spring loaded i wish it had the ability to clamp onto things like forceps. Other than that I like them and they're easy to operate without much resistance.

Well built. A good bang for your buck
I haven't used these pliers yet but the look to be very well made and just the right size. Very sturdy built. Nice rubber coated handles.

I'm assuming it's okay
I gave the pliers as a gift. I haven't heard anything bad.

Broke pinching split shot
The top half of one of the pliers snapped while I was simply pinching on a lead split shot. The metal must be very low quality for something like this to happen. Very disappointed.

Great tool for the money
Solid stainless needle nose. Good for freshwater fishing. Cuts mono and even braid fairly easily.

small but handy
Cool features, just a little light weight for anything but bring or trout
