Great Item
I've had this for over a month now and it works great. It is not heavy and a good size to easily place around the house. I was concerned when I read the reviews about the noise but I have been pleasantly surprised. It has some vibrating sound as expected but is not loud. I have used it while watching tv and working by my desk and it works just great. If placed on tiles or wooden floor, the sound might be louder. The only thing I wish they would include is the option for one to stand on it like the other bigger upright models. That way, you can combine lightweight body exercise while on it. Overall, it works as it is supposed to. Helps with circulation. It can also be used to massage the back and upper thighs. There is a short YouTube video on it. Worth checking it out.

Design Flaw
It works well but there is a design flaw. This is the 2nd unit that I have purchased. ON both, over time, the black rubber covers that cover the bolts that attach the top of the massager to the bottom vibrate out and will not stay in after that. The massager still vibrates but it is very loud. I called the company to complain but they are just sending some more rubbers. It's a shame because the unit works so well, but it's hard to talk on the phone with the racket from the massager.

Fantastic Infrared Blood Circulation Massager
This product has increased my circulation in my legs and feet immensely. Greatly reduced my foot pain caused by nerve damage and arthritis. At first, I used it twice a day for 15 minutes per session, now I use it once a day for one 10 - 15 minute session. I have a lot more feeling in my feet and increased blood flow in both legs. This massager allows me to sleep all night without medication. I regret not purchasing this machine 16 years ago when my problems started. I feel one has to respect this massager and not to over use it as it circulates the blood through the whole body.

Complex to use
This was not well designed. It vibrates rambunctiously. The touch pads at the top are small and cannot be toe pressed except for the on/off icon after repeated attempts. The remote only turns it on and off; all other functions have to be programmed with the fingers. With poor directions, the function settings are unfathomable. I almost sent this back, assuming that the vibrations would knock out the touch pad but realized shipping costs and selecting another might pose the same problem, so I decided to use it as long as it lasted before the vibrations knocked out the electronics. That said, the raised acupuncture points foot pads are wonderful, the foot massage is great, although it has a mind of it's own, each time it seems to program itself differently. I turn it on and it does it's own thing for however long it chooses. Switch placement, how large the touch pads and if it can be foot operated is a big thing. This is my 5th foot massager, my experience knows that it doesn't need such complex, obscure options; 3-4 would suffice. Next time I will examine the control system, knowing that simpler is better.

good but overpriced
overall it seems to be well made, and everything seems to work as advertised. I do wonder about the "infrared" heat feature a bit though - even on the highest setting my feet never really felt warm. Good massage action though, and I also use it on my lower legs by sitting on the floor with my calves outstretched over the top of it. Very relaxing and stimulating after a long day on your feet! I can't speak for the "enhanced blood circulation"abilitiees of this thing but as a foot massager I quite like it. Way overpriced though- seems like it should only cost about half of what it does. Glad I got it as a gift!

HEAVEN
OMG!!! This is THE best product ever and I'm telling everyone I know about it!! Even posted a picture of it on face book. I stand on my feet all day long and concrete at that, so when I get home my feet are sore and tired...no more of that! Again, Amazon had the cheapest price, I'm also a " prime" member (best deal ever) so shipping was free and I got it in two days. My son bought this for me for a Christmas present and it's the best present I've ever received. You can use it on other parts of your body as well, legs, arms, calves, etc. I can't wait to get home everyday to use it! My husband said I was going to break it because I use it so much! I have used it every day since I got it. I "shattered" my right foot two years ago and it still to this day bothers me BUT with this massager it's gotten better. I also sleep great now too! I'm trying to get my 81 year old mother to purchase one because she has "shunts" in her legs due to circulation issues and I know this would help her tremendously! I know I'm writing a lot but I can not give this enough "praise". The ONLY complaint I have is the remote, be careful as I almost threw mine away with the box, it's very small and I would have thrown it away but I knew it came with one after reading about it, and, (ok, that's two complaints) the buttons on the remote are small and hard to press because they are so small but this is very minor as you can "manually" turn it on but some people may have issues bending over to turn it on.

Great for neuropathy
I have a lot of pain and numbness in my feet from neuropathy and this thing has worked better than anything else I've tried so far. I've pretty much stopped taking gabapentin and greatly cut down on pain medication. When my feet are keeping me up at night I try vibrating them before anything else and it usually works. It does have some issues, most of which I read about in the reviews before I bought it and would like to comment on. 1. It scoots all over. I've tried a bathmat under it and that rubber stuff that is supposed to keep rugs from slipping, it still moves a bit. If you butt it up against something to keep it still it vibrates that thing too and makes it much louder. It won't shoot away from you if you get something under it but you're gonna be chasing after it if you try to use it on a bare floor. 2. It is fairly loud. People a couple rooms away haven't noticed it at night but it would likely wake someone in the room up. 3. It can be irritating to my knees and shins. It vibrates your whole leg pretty strongly and my knees are touchy anyway. The first time or two I used it my leg bones ached the next day, like a deep, inner bone ache. I think I've gotten used to it, or just cut back enough, because it hasn't happened again. I do use it less on my right leg, that knee is worse and the foot is better. If you have structural issues it may complicate them. 4. The remote does not do anything other than turn it on and off. It has other buttons but they don't work. I haven't played with the on-unit buttons yet, the automatic cycle works just fine for me. 5. I haven't felt any heat from it. I don't think it's supposed to be hot, that's not what infrared means. I've seen a few reviews that mention the heat not working though. Reading comprehension people. 6. It is bulky and heavy. Shipping weight is 12 pounds. The box shows people using it on other body parts that require picking the thing up and I'm not sure how that would work. It's very hard plastic, I wouldn't want to put it on soft tissue. The main thing I would change if I could is I would make the surface softer, like rubber nubs. It does have a lot of issues that can be annoying but I found it still worth it. It works well enough to put up with some inconvenience. Edit: October, '14 - I demoted it a star because mine broke already. I don't recall dropping it or doing anything else rough to it but a piece has broken off inside and it doesn't work right anymore. I can hear something rattling around in there. It's gotten much louder too. I haven't contacted the company yet to see if they will do anything but wanted to get this down. I miss it, my feet are bothering me again.

TOTAL P.O.S.
The first one of these I purchased lasted a couple of years before it got so loud that the neighbor could probably hear it. I drilled through the mounting system, installed bolts and got another year or so until it quit entirely. The next one I ordered lasted two days before self destructing. I returned it and ordered another. This one has lasted about a month and just now cut loose with unbearable noise. I don't think I want to invest the time required to bolt this one together so I'll just toss it into the garbage. I don't know what other machine has the power, so I will just do without.
