Fantastic stuff, it may be a little high on price but ... get what you pay for

I was very skeptical at first because of the mixed reviews. And I wanted to get quite a few of them because of the long shelf life so I bought one to try and was really shocked that it does have very good flavoring. It is a little salty, but you can tone that down, adding butter or water. My husband absolutely love the taste of it, which I was shocked because he is a 100% meat eater, but he actually really liked the taste of it so I will definitely be ordering more.

I won’t know if the product is good or not, until the time comes that it doesn’t matter. With that being said, the only thing I don’t like is the container is much smaller than the standard size. It just doesn’t stack nice. It sounds petty, and it is. That is my only complaint.

Bought it to add to Survival Pantry. Tasty. May eat this one and buy another 'to save'.

I have not opened it of course for stockpiling but I think it's a great meat substitute and you can still make flavorful burgers.

Used some on an extended camping trip. Quite surprisingly good. We have more unopened containers, you know, just in case the apocalypse happens:)

I made 4 big patties instead of 6 from 1 packet. They did not fall apart and tasted very good on nachos topped with cheese, onion, tomatoes and sour cream. Would be good on tostadas or anything that required Taco meat. I am very pleased with the flavor, consistency and easy prep. The directions are to add 1 1/8cup of hot water, that's 1 cup + 2 Tablespoons.. I resealed the pouch and let it sit 5 min. Formed patties and pan fried. It was very good! I will be purchasing more for summer camping trips and road trips with my blackstone griddle.
