Being an avid tech guy who’s house has Alexa controlling virtually everything and having spent hundreds of pounds on tech over the years I can say that I’m well placed pro give an honest review.These lights are the best I have installed bar none. Ease of installation, pairing with Alexa was a breeze, just wish I found them earlier.the light output is superb, dimming takes the light right down.Fitting is so easy, I had 70mm precut holes from the existing (failed) downlights, taking the old ones out was a pain, fitting the new ones was 2 seconds.hardly needs any head room , very compact and the app is easy and quick to useWould recommend them to anyone

These bulbs come with a bag full of features and functions that you would expect from any smart lights, but what really impresses me is how well they are put together and can be used.First of all, unlike the wifi bulbs, the setup is so simple that it was done before I hardly got going, which is a good thing and deserves a praise. If you are concerned with privacy, you have little to be concerned. The same feeling is apparent with the rest of operations to the extend I thought the user manual is rather “unnecessary”. ；）The beauty does not end just there. I had concerns with these lamps having limited control range, but there was I being prejudice. The so called new Mesh connectivity seems to cast some “mysterious force” connecting each and every bulb, I literally can cast my spell on a distant bulb from miles away as long as I am in range to the closest one.I particularly love how easy it is to operate multiple bulbs, the app interface has made it so simple and efficient, which by my definition is what smart lights should be all about, “Convenience.” The ability to create customised scenes and set a timer are just some of its least attractive points.In short, this is much better than infrared controlled bulbs in terms of functionality and controllability, at the same time, it beats wifi bulbs in terms of simplicity and ease of control. You can’t have it all, but this one is close enough to everything I want with smart lights.

Lights are exactly what I wanted, fitting was nice and easy. Set up was relatively straight forward via the app and connecting to Alexa worked well. Light now set up to turn on at sunset and off at selected time.Colour changes are easily made from the app and look good.Really pleased just hope they last a long time.Great value for money really happy with them

Really good quality LED downlights and I would recommend this latest version which includes colour temperature white lights and good colour settings. The BRMesh application works really well but you need to be close to the lights for it to work and be carrying you mobile device. It doesn't work well with Alexa due to using Bluetooth only communications.The other issue that would be easily fixed by the manufacturer is to reduce the "last settings memory" feature time requirement. You need to leave the lights powered on after changing the light settings for 2 minutes otherwise it returns to the state before, crazy but why?

Easy to install and easy to connect to your smart speaker to be able to choose whatever colour spot you want.

Units work fine as described.Only criticism is power leads are very short if access for wiring is an issue.Would buy again.
