Great book with a strong message
I Wish I Could Tell Her by Ajay K Pandey is a very emotional read, where the main character, Vasu is an Indian boy who has had to go through lots of bad experiences throughout his life because of his dark complexion. He is a very sweet mannered person but others choose to overlook this just because of his complexion. When a new girl, Radhika joins his class, he wants to be her friend, and later realizes he likes her, but is not sure how to express his feelings to her because he feels like he's not enough because of the jeering and bad comments he's got throughout his childhood and also because of the difference in their complexions. We get to see many instances throughout his school life and personal life where he has to face negative experiences which were soo infuriating, they made me really angry while reading them. Also we see many circumstances throughout the book which we see in our daily lives, where having a light skin tone is considered beauty is still normalized in our world even in this age.Vasu is a very optimistic and pure hearted mc and reading about him going through all of that bs was very infuriating. If you're going to read this book which I would suggest as it is well written, do tread carefully as there are a lot of instances in the book, which can be triggering. But there a lot of beautiful parts as well, therefore I'd definitely suggest you to read this book. It's a quick read with simple language but deals with important issues. My favorite character from the book would be a tie between Vasu and his elder sister Kavya, they have such a close and fun bond and she's such a strong character, I got Tori and Charlie vibes from both of them🥺💗 and there were a lot of hilarious instances in the book which made me laugh a lot. Definitely recommend reading.

Good one
It has been a while since I have come across a good adrenaline rush-giving book like I Wish I Could Tell Her by Ajay K Pandey Written around 200 pages the author has penned down a book that grips you from the very first page. The book is all about the topic of RACISM.The story starts with a boy vasu, his dark pores and skin tone. One of the terrible components of society is judging by pores and skin color. Then our second main character comes in the story Radhika she was a new student in his school she was fair in colour . vasu meets her and falls love with her but he keeps it secret between his sister kavya and himself Kavya she is our third main character in the story she always helps his brother regardless of what via thick and skinny and typically filled his life with want and moreover tells the difficult factBut Radhika likes a another guy named Sanjay who's skin colour was fair.So what happens next vasu will confess his feelings to Radhika?the book seems quite longer than I expected. but i love how their tale developed in the book, and the writing style which author used totally easy and Beginners pleasant book. Language and presentation is in reality well. The narrations were great. happy reading

Wonderful
If we want to market or advertise or highlight something, we wish to do it with fair people whom we think that they are looking good to promote it further. Product advertisements in television, heroes in movies, posters and boards of shops, students in banners for schools and colleges and much more. Why all these corporate companies or our community will think that only fair people can attract others and because of that only people will buy our products and make utilise of them. Even the common man who is in black will prompte his product with white people only. This is what the society has been created towards the racism.Actually while we grow up whatever may be the elders or teachers can select some good looking fair people for functions as a receptionist or to welcome chief guests, we friends, the love and affection between them never find any differences with black or white. The color of the skin doesn't matter between the true friendship or for the pure love. I have came across many of my friends who are in love and got married with dark people. The bond between them never differentiate with the color of the skin. But the society does it still in this century too. It changes a lot today and people learnt to realize true heart behind the differences yet somewhere somebody is practising the racism. Also whatever changes, the marketing doesn't change to make the people to remember the same. This is the one flaw that what we have as of now and beacuse of that the racism not yet vanished till."I wish I could tell" her is one such story explaining everything about the hesitation, ignorance, friendship and love between the black and white. Though the main protagonist's are Vasu, a black guy and Radhika, a fair girl, the author developed the main character of Kavya who is much needed for the society to get rid of these racism in this world. The author has done a great job and came out with a message of realisation with a beautiful story of love, friendship and a brotherhood attachment. The language of the story is lucid, the title is attracting and the cover of the book is beautiful. The writing style and the narration is smooth and flowing through with interesting plot. The storyline is purposeful and appreciable. This is the first story am reading from the author's work and after reading this I wish I could come from his first book you are the besr wife. I found all his title of the books are wonderful and it could be relatable. I am gonna pick those to mesmerize with the stories I guess.Kudos to the author and I recommend this book to indulge with this beautiful love story beyond the differences and a strong love between the siblings. Happy reading.
