Where is the spike to attach the bronze pole??

It screws into the middle of the base. If you are talking about the top, it is built-in. It is a great lamp and we are so pleased with our purchase.

Can I get instruction manual since mine didn't come with it?

How do you get at the light bulb to screw it in? This thing is useless without the light!

Raise the lever for the globe. Tilt the top of lantern. The bulb goes in the top. If this doesn't work for you, I will send a video.
