Excellent for ATVs
Installed on my 2001 Honda Rancher and was able to install upper in the frame, invisible & protected. Works perfectly.

great little winch
I bought this to replace the old hitch-mounted winch on my 6x6, so I had to do a little retrofitting.I first tested it with the included pieces, wiring things directly to a battery - no issues and easy to understand both the assembly and wiring from the instructions.The mounting plate did not fit my application, which is no fault of the purchase. I cut the old winch off of the old mounting plate, and welded the new one in place, the painted the welds. Quick and easy, and everything slipped into place from there. Connecting to the existing wiring on the 6x6 was also easy, and the old remote (hard wired) worked fine to run the winch from inside the vehicle. Looking forward to it getting some use this year.

Works great pulling my 3200lb car in and out of my enclosed trailer

Not good
Missing bolts, mounting plate does not line up, the synthetic rope is already frayed. This is not worth the money

Works but not as powerful as expected.
For 3000lb winch it seems inadequate. Coming from a 2500lb I expected more. Still does the job. Just seems to bog down.

I have realized that I have used this more times than I would like to say every time I use it it does not disappoint

Awesome small winch!
Bought this winch to install on the back of my UTV to work with the bed for loading deer. Have not used this combination together yet but have used the winch. Love the fact that it came with the remote control, the rope instead of cable and the spool out.

Didn't work out of the box
I got this as a gift for a friend of mine last year. We didn't get a chance to install it until this year. After getting the proper winch mount bracket and get the thing ready to install. I figured I would test it before I installed it, I did and it was dead. I know it is past the return time but ot was a gift so if the shipper wants to reach out to make this right, please do.

Holes have to be drilled
Bought 2024 can am outlander. Doesn’t fit well without having to drill holes. Now sitting on shelf.
