Ayesha Curry Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven/Casserole Pot with Lid, 6 Quart - Anchor Blue

The media could not be loaded.  I used this pan three times, and somehow, it has turned into a giant mess. Whatever coating is on this pan has literally melted off, and chipped off. I sent this video of my pan to my friend because I was in such disbelief. This pan is now useless to me for cooking, but it’s so freaking heavy I may keep it around as a weapon to fight off burglars.

This is a must have skillet if you want to avoid the non-stick surfaces and chemicals that come off of them. I use this skillet for everything...frying eggs, cooking steaks, making soups...it does it all. I bought a glass lid that fit on camping skillets and it works perfectly on this pan.The blue enamel coating on the outside of the pan is beautiful and easy to keep clean. It is a bit pricey but well worth the money.

First, it is enameled only on the exterior. The cooking service is a supposedly seasoned surface that stains easily. Second, it cooks adequately not nothing extraordinary. Pretty low quality overall. I regret purchasing this.

I now have 3 enameled cast iron Dutch ovens (Staub, Lodge, and the Ayesha Curry). So far I've been using the Ayesha Curry for baking artisan breads only and it performs wonderfully. It's on the heavy side and appears to be made very well. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

The pan is heavier than other pans it's size. The inside finish is rough and doesn't clean as easy as it should.

I wanted a enameled cast iron skillet to fry what I call soft fried potatoes on my glass top stove since it was hard not to scratch the stove with my old cast iron skillets. It worked fine except it should not be called a non stick pan. The potatoes stuck to the skillet worse than my old seasoned cast iron skillet. Maybe it will get better after some use. Cleaning was not to bad. I used a hard plastic spatula to scrape it with and then washed with warm water and soap as suggested by the seller. All in all it worked fine for a cast iron skillet. I would recommend if you want to try and save your glass top stove from scratches the best you can.

Nice large size and the best part . . . easy cleanup. Very nice pan. Kind of pricey but I will use it often so worth the price to me.

Esta pesada (de esperarse), se nota la buena calidad y la cubierta de enamel está muy bien - no viene con ningún defecto. Lo compré en oferta, pero después de recibir el producto la verdad si siento que vale el precio normal. Recomiendo ampliamente. No me convencía el color café, pero la verdad está muy bonito… tiene hasta pequeños brillos.

I've used this item a couple of times. Great for browning meat...is quite heavy but easy to lift with the extra handle..washed up very easy ...I would definitely recommend this fry pan...

OMG, I love this pan! It's changed the way I cook. I figure I'm responsible enough now to own a 'real' frying pan. I mean, this one requires a little care. But It's so worth it! The thick base provides even heat. The dual pouring spouts are handy. The little handle is vital! it's a heavy pan and I wouldn't try myself to move it without that little handle. And of course, the ease of searing and then baking, all in one dish. Excellent. And it looks good enough to put on the family table with a steaming dinner.
