Dreadful!
If you're looking to this book to be your constant companion in planning and implementing a SAP Business One project, forget it! It's written at far too high a level and skims over major topics with only the most cursory of detail. The language is also quite cumbersome - a function, presumably, of English not being the author's native language. The consequence is that some sentences literally do not make sense. Implementing SAP Business One is clearly an undertaking where the devil is in the detail - sadly, there is far too little detail here to help ensure that one gets the best out of the system. That said, the author is at pains to emphasise the need for careful and considered upfront planning before embarking on an implementation project and the financial and time costs that are likely to flow from ignoring that advice. Strangely though, he doesn't provide a meaningful checklist of issues to consider in advance of getting one's implementation underway, other than some rather vague and very high level questions about the characteristics of one's business. The bare bones are here. What is needed, however, is far more flesh if this is to be a truly useful implementation guide.
