Excelente sonido

The Polk ceiling speakers made my Atmos experience come to life. I had a 7.1 system before so I didn’t know what I was missing. The height channels added another dimension and now I’m truly surrounded in sound. I have a few other 7.1 surround speakers at my home in different areas so I know that Polk does have a unique sound. The ring radiator in Polk speakers give it a reserved sound so it is not as airy as traditional speakers so if you have a really lively room that is not acoustically treated Polk may be right for you. I am very satisfied with the sound of the Polk speakers in my 7.1.6 setup.

We have a 5.1 audio system for the living room. I purchased the Polk Audio 80F/X-LS for the front 3 speakers (right, center, and left) and purchased the Polk Audio 80F/X-RT for the 2 back speakers (right and left). The house is a new build - we ran the audio cable and used the 9-3/8" diameter Polk pre-construction brackets before the drywall went up - so installation was a breeze. I rotated the speakers towards the listening area and added the Polk DSW PRO 440 subwoofer. I was concerned about poor sound from the front speakers being in-ceiling rather than in-wall, but they sound great! We have been listening to them from about a year and are very happy with the purchase.

Replaced Definitive Technology BP-10 floor speaks and a Definitive Technology Mythos 3 center channel with these and they sound just as good if not better and the wifey is happy no wires in the living room.

OMG!! what a high quality sound in my room!, I'm using 4 of these speakers as my dolby atmos settings ,and no regret at all, just buy it and enjoy your life with your home cinema.

These speakers sound mediocre and leave a lot to be desired. Buy Focal 100 series instead and it will blow the Polk away for same amount of money. It’s not even close. I wanted to love the Polk because I already had the Polk Legend Tower speakers but the Polk in ceiling and in wall speakers are not very good. It was disappointing.

Completes my 5.2.4 sound system along with my Denon AVR 4200. Sounds great and the install was pretty simple.

Sound just as good as $500 speakers.
