Q: How does this compare to the Wada Cello bow grip ?

Better quality and easier on your hand

Q: does this bow grip make the bow too heavy or disturb the bow's balance?

It doesn’t add any perceivable weight. It makes holding the bow much more comfortable. I give them to my students who are having ‘grip’ issues. I prefer to play with one as well.

Q: how many bowgrips comes in a pack?

One. And it works pretty well. But search through the other brands. This is very hard to put on. There is a fatter one that clicks on and helps finger alignment. I have switched to that.

Q: Will this fit a 1/8 cello

It would feel quite large on a 1/8 cello. Possible but a little awkward.
