Seems well-made and good value
This is a tincture of bergamot that is sold as a dietary supplement. Bergamot looks to be fairly convincingly one of the more evidence-based supplements, so I think it’s a good choice if you need a little bit of help with your cholesterol. From what I can tell, the manufacturer is a US-based small business that’s doing all the right things and isn’t shy about showing off its GMP certification, which are all positive things in my book.Taking any liquid supplement for the first time is a bit more complicated than counting and swallowing some capsules. The recommended daily dose is 1/200 of the 4 fl. oz. bottle by volume, or 0.591 mL. This is apparently 17 drops with the included dropper cap (for reference, a “standard” drop is 0.05 mL, but the actual volume depends on the dropper used and there’s nothing wrong with the one included). Things go much faster on subsequent uses once you’ve figured out what 17 drops looks like inside the included dropper. It bears mentioning that bergamot extract lowers blood sugar, which may be dangerous for diabetics. As always, use common sense when dosing supplements. For some constructive criticism, I’d suggest that the company redesign their product labels. Subjective, I know, but I’ve seen the same wide “digital-looking” extended font and the same sort of “cool” stock-image background on many products by smaller companies, and in my opinion the label design gives off “high school kid just learning Photoshop” vibes. I’d also suggest looking into 0.1 mL volume markings on the droppers, although they would have to be the more expensive kind that are part of the glass and not the kind that flakes off over time. These are minor points that don’t affect my rating for the product itself, which seems well-made and competitively priced for a liquid bergamot extract. I would recommend it if you need a bergamot supplement and don’t mind or specifically want a liquid dosage form.

Great Supplement: Price, Flavor, Ease of Use
I started taking citrus bergamot a couple months ago after I learned about its benefits. I appreciate that citrus bergamot can be good for lowering blood glucose, blood pressure, triglycerides, and generally preventing heart disease. I enjoy bergamot in my beloved earl grey tea, and this concentrated form is a good health ally for me.This extract is so easy to take: I count 17 drops in a glass of water and drink it down. The flavor is very mild and I don't mind it at all. The peppermint compliments it well. If I didn't enjoy the flavor I would dilute it into a larger glass of water. Or, one could dilute it in juice. The price point is great for over half a year's supply of citrus bergamot, and I prefer an extract to capsule supplements as I've read that extracts absorb more easily and quickly into the body. I also get sick of swallowing pills! I'm sensitive to the taste of stevia (it tastes very bitter and overpowering to me when overused) but this extract has a good balance of stevia which is pleasant. All in all, a quality product at a great price point!

Interesting...
Have not tried a product like this where serving size measured by number of drops, but it does show estimated ml as well. I can see where through this method of application, absorption rate is faster. The slightly bitter, citrus flavor itself lingers as you are asked to hold it for 15 seconds before swallowing. I do like that it's made in the USA. As far as impact is concerned, I have not noticed anything significant to report - both positive and negative.

Liquid Citrus Bergamot
I’ve been taking citrus bergamot in pill form for over a year now. When I researched it as a supplement and saw its benefits, especially for cholesterol, I decided to give it a try. I’ve been very happy with the pill version, but I also know absorption is much better in liquid form so I thought I’d give this a try.It came well packaged. When I got through all the safety measures and got the bottle open, I found a dropper. Inside the dropper, the liquid citrus bergamot is a deep brown color, which I was not expecting.I don’t think anyone buys supplements for the delicious taste. If you’re looking for that, this won’t be for you. The taste isn’t horrible, but I will definitely be disguising it in juice or a smoothie.Time will tell as to how it compares with the pill version and which type I stick with. For now I’m rating this 5 stars because the product is exactly as advertised and I expect it will offer me the same great health benefits as the pill form.

Good if you like the taste.... I dont
Good qualityI will stick with capsules as I don't like the taste of the liquid. A bitter semi citrus taste. Tastes like very unripe oranges crossed with ripe grapefruit to me.Good value if you do like the taste.

Nice ingredients
Citrus Bergamot is suppose to cause a significant reduction in total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides and blood glucose coupled with a significant increase in HDL levels. I have been working on my cholesterol and triglycerides for a few months and have have them both under better control. My triglycerides needs a little more work and my HDL levels are still too low. So I started taking this to help with both. I am not fond of the taste and I do not understand why you have to take 17 drops instead of just a mark on the stopper but I will do as directed. I have not had the extract long enough to get any results but I will update those results on my next check up. For now, the literature seems to really favor Citrus Bergamot Extract.

Easy to take, tastes ok
The Citrus Bergamot Extract bottle came fast. It is kind of brown-red liquid. The instruction says to take 17 drops and keep it in mouth for 15 seconds, then swallow. I have taken it for a few days. The extract doesn't have strong taste. I find it easy to hold and swallow. It's not sweet, not sour, not bitter, not salty. I don't know how to describe exactly how it tastes like, kinda like very mild traditional Chinese medicine. I am fine with the taste. No side effects so far. I reckon it should be safe to use daily as a health supplement.
