good, but equipment may be needed for best results
It is what it is.It is expensive at the dentists and actually I haven't had one use this since I was a child. I may be sloppy at application but remember, it does clot and dry rather quickly. The practice is the same, nothing chewy or crunchy for a while after. You may be able to get away with brushing, flossing and/ or using a simple prophy, I bought one for maybe $100, to clean and remove pellicle, etc from the teeth before, as this would just be putting a layer over the bad stuff and not directly on to the teeth -if not removed.I have not done any scientific tests as to its effectiveness or clinical value.. but it probably doesn't hurt if tooth care is your thing, it it supposed to help slow some tooth related problems, but nothing but drilling and filling will cure it.

Not really a viable DIY treatment
In my experience, this doesn’t work very well for home use because it’s impossible to get and keep the teeth dry enough to apply without the saliva extractor thing that dentists place in your mouth while working. Without dry teeth and gums, the product turns solid/clumps before it can be spread over the tooth surface. The tiny applicator brush also needs to have stiffer bristles. I’m sure it’s an effective, promising product, but they need to further develop a better way to apply…maybe on a film like teeth whitening strips. Disappointed I bought the multi pack.

It’s terrible
I get fluoride treatment at my dentist office at each cleaning. It’s 30.00. I saw this and was excited to be able to save money and get results since it’s advertised as “for dentist”.Wrong. The material even when stirred per directions is very tacky and becomes stringy on your teeth. Despite following directions carefully, the product only covers about half the teeth as it’s so stringy that one cannot get it on the molars.Avoid.

These Work!
My dental insurance doesn't pay for this floride anymore unless your under the age of 17. It cost me $50 at my dentist and I thought I would look to see if I could find something similar. Actually it's the exact produce that my dentist uses, except he charges $50 and the cost per treatment ended up only being $1.25! I didn't worry about the expiration date as I have 6 adult children and myself and my husband, so we all are using them. The expiration isn't for a couple of years. So glad I thought about this.

Not a gel and applies like sticky glue
The product is like old glue and does not spread on teeth. It is impossible to brush off too!
