Review: They are rugged and fair priced and most importantly built to last - I’ve had this exact shoe in the past. I’ve always loved Merrell quality . I’ve had their shoes in the past at the point that i’ve had to change out the insole before the outsole is even remotely wore yet thanks to their vibram construction. I also love these shoes because they’re a cross between going for wildness treks and simple city walking they are built like tanks but as comfortable as a Range Rover. I feel super locked in and they have plenty of room with their super wide toe box
Review: Comfortable but engineered to wear out fast - I've had many pairs of these shoes over the years. The current incantation is the Moab 3. These are about the same as the old ones. Great for hiking. Comfortable and decent support. The fit my foot very well. When I first bought a pair of these over a decade ago (maybe two), they would last years. The laces would wear out the shoe lasted so long. But as of the last 5 pairs of these I've had, the back inside lining wears thin in the first month of use. After 6 months, there is no inner lining left in the heel cup. The foam that holds your heel/ankle in place wears out and blows out of the shoe. It sticks in your socks as well. Then the shoe is sloppy and slips on my foot. I can't hike with it anymore because of blisters. Shame on your, Merrill. Your sold out for profit. Now these shoes will end up in the dump a few months after I bought them. I'm looking for a different shoe

**Q: how do they handly wet enxiroments,    Water Proof ????   can you hose off inside and outside ???**
A: So I bought these for my dad, a hiker. You can hose them off indoors or outdoors, however they will fade in under 6 months from the water & sun. He also miss the lawn in them, & they’re no worse for the wear. 

I buy my dad a new pair every 10-12 months; this is a very sturdy shoe for an average outdoorsman.

**Q: Why does the granite color look wrong?**
A: Different hues of granite i would have to say.. Why do you believe the color looks wrong.

I've had many pairs of these shoes over the years. The current incantation is the Moab 3. These are about the same as the old ones. Great for hiking. Comfortable and decent support. ### ⭐ Had to return. Did not fit right. 1st pair was fine. 2nd identical pair did not fit right.

Recently bought this shoe, which was made in Viet Nam. I liked them so much, that I wanted to buy a 2nd identical pair. The new shoes I received were made in China and did not fit right. They lacked the arch support that the 1st pair had. With my foot problems, I need good arch support. When I looked at my order online, it said "made in Viet Nam", but I the ones I received said "made in China".
