A collectible worth having
Okay, I’m not really a Barbie collector, but when I saw this, I had to pull the trigger. Since the early ‘60’s I have been a fan of Dr. Goodall and David Greybeard and Flo and all.My mom gave me a copy of her book “In the Shadow of Man” and I was hooked. I love hat this doll is one of a series of women who followed their hearts and lived on their own terms in service to the earth. I love that this item is primarily made of recycled ocean plastics! How appropriate!It’s nicely detailed and the accessories are quite fun! I’m glad that Dr. Goodall has embraced this item and hope that inspires more young people to follow her lead.

As an avid lover of animals and all things conservation, I HAD to purchase a few of these as a gift for my little sister and of course, myself. Such a unique gift that we will hold on to forever! Box came in great condition as well as the Barbie.

Incredible doll of an incredible woman
I am so happy I purchased the Dr. Jane Goodall doll when I did because they are out-of-stock less than a week after release. Dr. Goodall has been such an incredible inspiration to me! I’m sure this doll will inspire others- young and old to take positive action for the planet!I love the plastic-free packaging and the fact that 75% of the doll and accessories are made from recycled plastic! I hope Mattel chooses these options for all their toys from here on forward!

Inspiration
This was a gift for my independent minded, inquisitive, animal loving great niece. She really liked it, and I hope it encourages her to follow her heart. I also included an age appropriate book on Jane Goodall with her Barbie.

Love the doll - wish she were articulated
Jane cannot sit with Greybeard. I’m as old as Barbie, played with the dolls when I was a kid, and began collecting the contemporary dolls (including other brands) over 20 years ago.there is no value to a doll if you don’t release the doll from its packaging dungeon and let it live in imaginereum. So that was disappointing. Otherwise, love her and Greybeard!.
