Sooo worth it! Helps banging, knocking pipes
After buying a new, stackable washer and dryer, my basement pipes were knocking so loud and shaking the house. I googled and found these may help. Buy two (one for hot and one for cold). They have worked so well and I do not notice any knocking noise any longer.

Water Hammer Solved
I installed on the back of my washer after finding out what water hammer was. It stopped the loud, startling noise when the water would stop adding to the machine. Simple installation and feels high quality.

Water hammer issue solved
Had a new LG front load washer installed and was having trouble with water hammer. Closed the valves a bit to reduce water hammer but cycle times got extended due to the water pressure being too low and taking longer to fill the machine. Attached these arrestors to the back of the machine and was able to run full water pressure to the machine and lower the wash cycle times back to normal. I think they work great.

No more water pipe bsnging
The basement water pipes were banging loudly as my clothes washer stopped using water. I mentioned this to the delivery man as he delivered my new washer. He suggested we purchase water bang arresters which I didn’t know existed. We purchased these which were so easy to install. Now no more water pipe banging.

High quality but not very effective
Easy to install and feels like good build quality but not very effective for water surges, even when installed directly on the washer hose bib I can still hear water hammer on the other side of the house.

Works relatively well. Seems to be getting better as it works the air out.
Silenced the banging, but did not totally eliminate the pulse. I think that is just the machine mixing hot and cold water.
