Will only buy genuine Makita from now on, used a handful of times and caught fire, never again

Defeats the object of having a double charger - might as well have bought the Makita single. I can charge 2 x 5ah batteries on my single Makita charger in the time this can charge 2 x 5ah batteries 3/4 way.

Takes ages. Wish I'd bought the proper Makita charger

Excellent product charges batteries fine reason for four stars and not 5 is there’s no cooling fan.

I treated myself to some new Makita tools but didn't want to pay Makita prices for the batteries and chargers, so I bought one of these and it works.
