I love my EGO mower, but after 2 years my battery was not holding a charge for very long, eventually it quit charging altogether. The price of a new OEM battery was just to high for me to swallow so I looked on Amazon and based on the reviews I decided I would give this battery a try. I must say it's as good as my original battery if not better. It holds a charge well and I can cut for at least two hours non stop. This is a great deal for the price, and got me back in business.

I purchased this battery just under a year ago. The battery worked great and has a decent battery life between charges. Although a few weeks ago it completely died. The seller did honor the one year warranty and has sent a replacement. We'll see how this one holds up.

The battery that came with my mower allows me to cover about 85-90% of my lawn, so I had to mow the front yard in the morning and the backyard in the afternoon, after recharging. Now I can mow both yards with only a brief stop for swapping batteries. By design, this battery is not as long-lasting as the original battery or brand-name replacements from the manufacturer--but it's also much less expensive. If you can mow at least 60% of your yard with the original battery, then this one should ensure you can finish the job in one run.

Worked good once or twice, quickly loses runtime and was never able to mow small lawn on one charge. After one year it is completely dead.Best to pay a little extra for the real thing.

This battery seems to last and it is half the price of my factory ones.

Update: 8 months later this battery continues to perform as good as the day I first used it. I continue to use it with the EGO 580 leaf blower at FULL POWER the entire time drying my car. This battery has never ONCE FAILED!! And now it’s priced at $92 when I paid $139. If you’re looking to replace your original EGO battery and are looking at others you can stop. This is the one you’ll be happy you purchased.WOW was i surprised using this battery. I have an EGO 580 CFM leaf blower I use at MAX the entire time drying off my car after a wash. The OEM battery could NEVER do that. The OEM battery world repeatedly go into RED CIRCLE OF DEATH mode every 3-5 minutes when I used the TURBO on max with the blower. I’d then need a minute or 2 so the battery could cool enough to use again. This NON OEM battery does NONE of that! It works 100% of the entire drying process at MAX TURBO with the leaf blower. I’ve now used it 3 times and not ONCE did this die on me. I’m very very pleased with my purchase. If your hesitant buying this battery for fear it won’t perform like the OEM battery your right it doesn’t. It OUTPERFORMS the OEM battery. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 bravo!!!!!

We purchased this bargain battery hoping it could fit the bill and serve as a second battery for our fleet of EGO power tools. Sadly, we found that this battery cannot deliver the juice when needed. Although the battery level indicator displayed a completely charged battery, our pole saw died on contact with the branch. We then tried it with a line trimmer with the same results. Battery may be rated 5.0 amps but it performs lie a cellphone battery. Lights are on but nobody is home. Three stars because it appears to be built solidly and meets the form factor for EGO power tools, and the indicator LEDs all light. Caveat Emptor.Amazon customer service did not question my complaint and issued a refund immediately.
